Knight Merz Support the Polish Program
In an interesting co-operative effort, two of Beacon’s
longstanding sponsors, Sinclair Knight Merz and the Civil
Contractors Federation, have joined together to sponsor
the first stage of the national rollout of Beacon’s latest
                                 national program – Polish.
Polish is aimed at helping young school leavers to
better understand the world of work before they enter
it - particularly issues like personal hygiene, presentation
and representation and what their prospective employers
will require of them. The program goes well beyond
the usual preparation of a curriculum vitae and reflects
the reality that there is much more to getting a job than
feedback are being obtained to the point where Beacon
                                 merely ‘sending your curriculum vitae’.
is now having to seek out ways to extend the rollout in
The program runs for one day and focuses particularly on 2006.
