Follow Up - TAXIS Wage Progression

The law requires Employer to report Newly Hired Employees within 20 days of the date
of hire. Employers play a vital role in the success of the New Hire Program. By joining
forces, Employers and government can work together to reduce the burden on our
state's taxpayers and provide a better life for children.

New Hire Reporting reduces from months to days the time it takes Child Support,
Employment Security and Labor & Industries to locate the income source for employees
who have moved to a new job. Decreasing the tax burden needed to fund state
programs (Unemployment Compensation, L&I and Welfare/TANF) benefits Employers
and residents.

Staff use the TAXIS Wage Progression screen to view New Hire and TAXIS Interface
Information. All of the data is imported from an interface with the Employment Security
Tax Information System (TAXIS). This screen is a record of the selected Job Seeker
placement history and TAXIS wage information.

Start SKIES Welcome Screen

Select a Job Seeker. On the Menu Bar, click > Job Seeker > Follow Up > TAXIS Wage
Progression.

The TAXIS Wage Progression screen displays.

The New Hire interface information displays the Number, Date Reported, Employer
Name, City, State, and Address.

The TAXIS Wage Interface Information displays the Hire Quarter, Total Calculated Wage
for the Quarter, and lists by quarter the Hours, Wages, Employer Name, and Calculated
Hourly Wage Total.
