PROGRAMS WITH OVERNIGHT STAY

ATLANTIS and ENDEAVOUR CAMPS
During scientific workshops, trainees must cooperate to resolve engineering problems, build a rocket
or a space capsule, and test their prototypes. Training simulators allow participants to experience
weightlessness, complete disorientation or the feeling of walking on the moon. Trainees sleep in modules
similar to those aboard the space station.
The most memorable moment of the camp is undeniably the Space Mission where crews simulate a
mission in space aboard the replica of the space shuttle Endeavour. Communication and teamwork
become crucial in order to successfully accomplish the mission.

GUIDELINES FOR VISITS
Our educational programs have been created while taking in consideration the participation of the teachers
and chaperons. They should stay with their group during the activities and take an active part when
necessary. Please plan to have an adult for each group, as indicated in the programs description.
Please plan to have additional chaperons if your group is composed of younger children (preschoolers),
or if the group integrates children with special difficulties.
We strongly suggest that you arrive 15 minutes before the beginning of your programs.
