                              Summer 2010 Study Abroad in India
                               Join us: July 19 – August 4, 2010
                          What is modern about ancient? India, of course!
                  See and experience an ancient civilization with a modern appeal!
       It’s your opportunity to participate in an exotic and customized learning experience!
 This truly exciting study abroad program offers an experience like no other. Select your own study and
        travel track— for college credit, for business visits, or for general cultural / travel interest.

                                       Participate in one of three travel tracks:
             HUM 293 (3 cr) India Studies or Business/IT/Ayurvedic visits or General cultural travel interest

                                    Whatever travel track you choose, all participants will…
                                 - experience India’s ancient cultural and historical significance
                  - attain a more global understanding of the world and India’s role and new modern appeal
                                       - learn about Ayurvedic treatments and massages
                                  - meet a variety of Indian professionals for exchange of ideas
                                - experience a sensory feast of food, clothing, music, and dance

          Destination Cities include Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, Kumarakom, and Chennai. Some Tour Highlights:
          Qutub Minar – World Heritage Site             Jama Masjid—Muslim Mosque
          Wonder of the World- Taj Mahal                Elephant ride at Amber Fort in Jaipur
          Cross Country Jeep Safari ride                Camel Ride in Samode
          House boat cruise in Kumarakom                Hindu Temples, plus Ayurvedic Massage (opt/add’l fee)

         Your tour package includes: First class hotel accommodations; Ground transportation; Professional,

Passport, Visa, tips, incidentals, and personal health immunizations are at the expense of the traveler. An honorarium fee of $25 per
