Farmers from the Agatha area are outraged
because the police chose to classify the crime
as a burglary and not as a farm attack.
According to the victim, there was nothing

                                               DEFINITION OF FARM ATTACKS
The figures for this period have been obtained
                                               from the National Operational Co-ordinating
                                               Committee (NOCOC). NOCOC’s figures are

NOCOC uses the following definition for
farm and smallholding attacks: "Attacks on

Control diseases with new product
PHOSGUARD 400 SL is a systemic water soluble liquid fungicide
for the control of diseases caused by species of Oomycete fungi.
The active ingredient for Phosguard 400 SL is neutralised phosphorous
acid.
The mode of action of Phosguard is two-fold.
Firstly, phosphorous acid disrupts the phosphate metabolism of the
fungi.
The fungus stops growing and is not able to produce spores thus it
cannot infect new tissue.
Secondly it stimulates the plant’s natural defense systems.
This is done by activating biochemical pathways which produce the
phytoalexsin group of metabolites.
These phytoalexsins attack the infecting fungus preventing or dis-
rupting infection and the growth of the pathogen.
