Our Approach
Our review will provide an assessment of a financial model’s arithmetic accuracy, whether it is free from all material errors, robust and fit for the purpose, and accurately reflects project documents and financial arrangements. Our review includes: > A cell-by-cell review of the arithmetic accuracy of formulae and calculations contained in the model to ensure it is free from all errors. Checks that the model is logically constructed, internally consistent with best practice and fit for purpose. Checks that any macros that govern calculations in the model are correct and appropriate. Determining whether key assumptions and input data from project and financial documents have been appropriately included and correctly referenced. Checks that the model allows changes in assumptions and sensitivities to correctly flow through to the results. Checks that the model correctly incorporates relevant project assumptions, including the structural features in the financiers’ term sheets. A review of the taxation assumptions. A review of the accounting assumptions and outputs to ensure compliance with relevant Accounting Standards.
