If you are looking to upgrade or enhance your current office skills this program will help you achieve this and more. You will
develop a wide range of skills and advanced knowledge. This will help you to keep pace with advances in modern office
technology and practices. This Program follows on from BSB20107 Certificate II in Business but, it is not necessary for you to
complete the whole Level II Program. Though it is necessary for you to have the skills contained within that qualification.
Entry Requirements      Recommended Education Level: Pass in Year 10 non-modified English and Year 10 non-modified
                        Maths (or equivalent).

                        English Language Level: Minimum Academic IELTS 5.5 or equivalent. You may be eligible for direct
                        entry from our English Language Program please discuss options with the International Unit.

                        Recommended Underpinning Knowledge:
                        Entry directly into a Level III qualification assumes that you already have the skills contained in
                        Certificate II in Business. If you do not have these skills then you must enrol into the appropriate
                        competencies. This includes basic computer skills regarding file management, e.g. using Windows,
                        creating, moving and deleting folders and files within folders; plus keyboarding skills with correct
                        fingering, accurate keying, word processing and spread sheeting.

                        BSBFIA302A Process payroll, BSBFIA303A Process accounts payable receivable, and BSBFIA304A

About WideBay TAFE
The Wide Bay Region is the Gateway to Fraser Island, incorporating The Great Barrier Reef to the north and the Cooloola
Coast to the south, situated in Coastal South East Queensland, Australia.
Wide Bay Institute of TAFE has four campuses located at Bundaberg, Hervey Bay, Maryborough and Gympie. International
students who study at WideBay TAFE find it a very rewarding experience as they are made to feel welcome by the local
communities. A fully equipped gym, restaurant and library is available within the institute.
Teaching methods combine face-to-face delivery, self-study and project work. You may be required to complete work
experience and/or field trips to be eligible for the program award. Wide Bay Institute of TAFE assists students in finding
appropriate organisations in which to complete this component. The majority of classes are conducted in modern, air
conditioned venues. Students have access to computers in our Research and Information Centre's located on each campus.
Students may be required to sit for both open and closed book examinations and in some cases may be required to perform
skills tests and/or oral presentations. Individual or group project work may also be used to determine competency.
The International Services Team consists of administrative support staff, dedicated to assisting students throughout the
various stages of study. This assistance ranges from Program Information to Admission Procedures, Entry Requirements,
VISA Regulation's and requirements for extending studies. The International Student Support Officer provides assistance
with accommodation, Overseas Student Health Cover, public transport information and can refer students to other support
services within and outside the Institute.
