Bruce Springsteen At San Jose On His Tour Of America Powered By Docstoc
After having rocked the crowd with his performance at the halftime at Superbowl on
last Sunday, Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band is all set to start his tour of
America. The over 3-month long tour will start with his first performance at San Jose,
CA on April 1, where he will be performing at the HP Pavilion. The sale of tickets for
Bruce Springsteen's concert has already begun. He and the band is on the tour to
promote the release of his latest album, Working on A Dream which is Bruce
Springsteen's ninth album to top the Billboard 200 Charts. He's tied with The Rolling
Stones and is only third to The Beatles on the first spot and Elvis Presley and Jay-Z
tied at the second spot to be able to achieve the maximum number of Billboard
toppers.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's latest album Working On A Dream has
already sold a little under a quarter million copies in the first week of its release and is
still far behind his personal best of Born In The U.S.A (1984) which had sold 15
million copies. This is a phenomenal number keeping in my the falling sales of
albums this year. Like his last album, Magic (2007), Working On A Dream has
debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200 displacing Taylor Swift's reigning album
Fearless. This is the 16th album of Bruce's 35 year long career which witnessed 9
albums reaching the top of the Billboard 200 charts.
