This information is of relevance to the chair of governors, the headteacher and the clerk.

The table on the following pages lists issues for consideration/review in the light of statutory requirements and local decisions. They may
be considered by the full governing body/committees/working groups or named governors, depending on individual schools‟
arrangements for the management of governing body business.

Many Local Authority documents and resources mentioned in the table below are available on the Cambridgeshire County Council
(CCC) Education Portal (also known as the „Schools Portal‟): www.ccceducation.net . This document can be located at
Resource ID: 1613. All governors have been issued with user accounts for the Education Portal. If you have forgotten your user
ID/password or have any difficulty in accessing the Portal, please contact your clerk to governors, who should have a record of governor

                                 Provided by Governors, for Governors
 Governors E-Learning is an online training website for governors, which was developed by the Eastern Leadership Centre in
 partnership with several local authorities. It provides an opportunity for governors to access training more easily from their own
 homes, offices and schools and promote discussion about a range of topics in governors meetings. GEL will supplement
 conventional face-to-face training, rather than replace it. Additional information can be accessed through the Hot topics and Clerks‟
 Page sections of the website.
