Hi All,
It's been a CH3 tradition to celebrate their Anniversary weekends outside Chennai. This year, for our
9th Anniversary, we plan to go on a pilgrimage to where the Hash was born - KL, Malaysia. The committee has a
worked out a fantastic package (details attached on the Registration Form).
Air Asia, is a budget flight & has started operations from South India, Dec 08 from (Tiruchirapalli-Kuala Lumpur-
Tiruchirapalli), Frequency: 1 flight per day, Aircraft Type: Airbus A320, Aircraft Full Capacity:180, Flight Timing:
TRZ-KUL(0925-1540hrs), KUL-TRZ(0740-0855). Lowest Fare (round trip, including taxes): INR 7,000/- per person,
Highest Fare(round trip, including taxes):INR 27,000/- per person, the mentioned fare is only a guideline & may be
revised from time to time. It is advisable for you to book early in order to enjoy the cheapest fare.

A few of you have booked your return ticket from Kuala Lumpur to Trichy on the 4th Oct 09, please note that we
return back to Kuala Lumpur from Afamosa Resort (Malacca) on 4th Oct. We have a Joint Run that evening with
KL Full Moon Hash & after that dinner & party till u drop !!
5th Oct you can either check out early morning or stay a few days more in KL, as mentioned before we got the
same Hash Hotel Rates extended for those staying back in KL (USD19 / Twin Sharing).

Kuala Lumpur-Singapore:-
If you want to visit Singapore after the event, you can book one way by "Air Asia" from Trichy to KL; and from
Singapore you can book your return by "Tigerairways" to Chennai. website: http://www.tigerairways.com. From KL
you catch a bus/train to Singapore. You need a visa to visit Singapore - please keep that in mind!!

3rd October 2009
* Check out after breakfast & on to the bus to A'Famosa Resort, Melaka.
* 12.30hrs arrive at A'Famosa; check in to D'Savoy Condo Park
* 13hrs Lunch at the Clubhouse
* 17.30hrs Joint Run with the Malacca Hash
* 20hrs Dinner & Dance with Hash Live Band on attendance at the Clubhouse Ball Room

4th October 2009.
* 9.30hrs check out after breakfast & head back to Kuala Lumpur
*12noon arrive at KL for lunch at Pearl International Hotel
*17.30hrs bus to the run site
*18hrs Joint Run with KL Full Moon Hash.
*20hrs Dinner & Party to the DJ

5th October 2009
*5.30am Check out of Hotel & transfer to LCC Terminal
*7.40am Flight to Trichy
*8.55am Arrive at Trichy Airport.

Children:
1st Oct-are allowed to attend the Homecoming Ball at the Royal Selagor Club.
2nd Oct-above 15 yrs allowed to join the run.
3rd Oct-are allowed to join the run, but not the circle / they can join for dinner at the Ball Room.
4th Oct-are not allowed cos its Pub Crawl!! (will confirm later if they can join us for dinner)
The committie will make sure that they will get the hotel staff to take care of the "horrors" while the parent
are on the run & partying!!

Where is Kuala Lumpur?
Kuala Lumpur or just "KL" as its fondly called, is the capital of Malaysia. Malaysia is situated in South East Asia, just
south of Thailand, north of Singapore and next to Indonesia.Its indigenous people are Malays who are the people of
South East Asia. The rest are Chinese, Indians & other are indigenous races such as Dayakas & Kadazans..Its a very
much a cosmopolitan country.

How To Get to KL?
KL has the most modern, state-of-the-art, futuristic airport in the world, called (Kuala Lumpur International Airport or
KLIA) & host many airlines from Europe, all parts of Asia & the US.

From KLIA to KL Sentral (KL City)-
KLIA Express Rail Link is designed with air travelers needs in mind. The non-stop journey between KLIA and KL
Sentral Station (KL City) takes only 28 minutes. (Taxi takes 1hr from KLIA to reach KL city) KLIA Ekspres departs
from both terminals every 15 minutes, on the hour and every quarter of an hour, seven days a week. KLIA Ekspres
air-conditioned carriages are equipped with comfortable contoured seats, a washroom, overhead racks for light
luggage and tiered racks for large luggage. At the KL Sentral station, there is a taxi counter-budget
prepaid, where you can hire a taxi for your destination!!

LCC Terminal-KL:-
The Low Cost Carrier Terminal is specifically built at KL International Airport to cater to the growing passengers of the
Low Cost Airlines, especially the passengers of Air Asia & Cebu Pacific. It is located 20km away from the KLIA
(Kuala Lumpur International Airport) Main Terminal Building (MTB). Shutter bus connects LCCT to KLIA main building.

LCC Terminal to KL Sentral:
Skyline (a/c bus) are available every 15 minutes just outside the terminal - one way is RM9/-. At KL Central station,
you can take a taxi to your destination from the prepaid taxi counter-budget prepaid!!

What Language Is Spoken In KL?
Bahasa Melayu (Malay) is the national language but English is widely spoken. The ethnic groups speak various
language and dialects.
Climate:
Tropical climate with warm weather all year round. Temperatures range from 21C to 32C. Annual
rainfall varies from 2,000mm to 2,5000mm.

Religon:
Islam is the official religion but all others religions are practised freely.
