                                Created: January 2, 2009; Updated: June 22, 2009

This checklist is intended to assist the developer of a private development project with the coordination
between the City of Mesquite and Town of Sunnyvale. Please read the City of Mesquite Engineering Plan
Submittal Requirements for an explanation of requirements: http://www.cityofmesquite.com/engineering .
Please contact Town of Sunnyvale for plan submittal requirements.

Prior to Submission please research and have the following questions answered:
1. Does the project require sanitary sewer service from the City of Mesquite? If so, is the project site in the

Mesquite sanitary sewer system. Engineering plans are required and shall comply with City of Mesquite
   requirements and pro-rata fees.
2. Does the project discharge storm water into an enclosed storm water system, into a public right-of-way, or
into North Mesquite Creek with the City of Mesquite city limits? If so, engineering plans are required and
shall comply with City of Mesquite requirements.
3. Does the project connect to a City of Mesquite street requiring a drive approach or median opening/left
turn lane on a Mesquite street? If so, engineering plans are required and shall comply with City of
   Mesquite requirements.
