NEW INITIATIVES

•   Faculty Recruitment ----Planning for new trades & SFS Courses in next
    academic year.

•   Strengthening of infrastructure -----Repair of old theory class rooms &
    workshops under progress. Civil work for new trades likely to be
    completed by Jul 2010 in ITIs Dungarpur and Pratapgarh.

•   Strengthening of Placement Cell – Through liaison with District
    Employment Officer & one teacher in each ITI nominated as placement
    instructor who will also maintain a Placement Register. Also planning to
    hire a consultant to assistant placement.

•   Planning industrial tours twice in a year ie Mar and Oct.

•   ISO certification in the next academic year after inclusion of new trades.

•   What do the state directorate officials say? - They are fully satisfied with
    our commitment & dedication.

•   What do the Principal and IMC Members say about PPP? - Principals are
    energetic & keen to implement the IDP as per schedule but IMC Members
    lack sense of commitment & hardly contribute in any form.

•   What do faculty and staff say about the PPP? - They have all the
    appreciation for the improvements taking place in the ITI but Adm Staff is
    slightly overloaded with IMC work.

•   What do the parents and the community say about the PPP? – Satisfied
    with improvements taking place in the ITI and have desired for hostel and
    wet canteen facilities in the complex.
ACHIEVEMENTS

   Fifteen students of Fitter and Electronics trades from ITI Karauli have been placed with TATA motors
    with salary of 6,500/-.

   ITI Dungarpur will be able to open three new trades from next academic year.

   Up gradation of existing trades with latest training aids , new equipment & machines

   Improvement of basic needs - Matkas (Earthen pots) replaced with coolers and ROs for drinking
    water. Unhygienic toilets repaired and made useable.

   Furnishing of Libraries with new books .

   Renovation of Theory Classrooms & workshops.

   Frequency of industrial tours increased.

   Created sports facilities.

   IT awarenes enhanced

   Black boards replaced with green and white boards.

   Frequent power failure overcome by placing generators.

   Exhaust fans installed in workshops

   Enhancement of Self Pride amongst Trainers & Trainees.
