“Project and Contract Management Disciplines using the
          1999 FIDIC Contract Conditions (Construction/Design-Build)”

OVERVIEW
The training course is designed to provide practical guidance to those managing or administration
projects where use of FIDIC Contracts is required. The course covers management disciplines and
procedures in the Pre-Contract phase of the project including the FIDIC Service Contract and selection
of the appropriate FIDIC Works Contract. The course also covers the Works Contract phase of the
project from award through to commissioning.

It is applicable to all the Parties involved with a New FIDIC Contract – the Employer, the Project
Manager, the Contractor, the Engineer, and the DAB Members. By having a professional understanding
of the responsibilities and rights of the Parties under a 1999 FIDIC Contracts, a more efficient
management of the project may be achieved. The tutor of the course is a very experienced British
engineer, who has had extensive worldwide involvement with management of projects and more recently
acting as a consultant to all Parties undertaking FIDIC Contracts.
