Description: Modern hockey was originated in the early 19th century England, the London Games in 1908 to become an official event for the first time, became a fixture in 1928, an increase of women's events in 1980. 20 years from the first 30 years, almost a monopoly of all the Indian world champion, won from 1928 to 1956 a total of six Olympic gold medals. Indian hockey history, there have been a total of 5 Babil - Singh, Singh led the Indian team first beat the Netherlands 6-1 to win the 1952 Helsinki Olympic Games hockey gold medal.
