BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH
Bill Waterman
President

Bill Waterman, a pilot of 25 years, has developed and managed a wide variety of

technical businesses in the aerospace, corporate and general aviation arenas. He spent 15

years at Honeywell managing their solid state electronics group and was involved in the

Cassini space probes. He founded and ran the largest shared ownership business jet

program in Minnesota and Iowa with a strong focus on safety, earning the NBAA Flight

Safety Award for 10,000 safe flight hours in 7 Dassault Falcon jets. Bill recently turned

his talents towards improving the safety of communication during flight with the Clarity

Aloft™ Aviation Headset, a featherweight communication system launched by Aloft

Technologies, a company he co-founded. Bill’s educational background includes a B.S.

in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A. from the University of Michigan.
