In a letter datedJune1, 2005,you informedthe Commission that you had closedthe recreationareasat and below SwingingBridge reservoir. Theseareasinclude recreationsitesat the Swinging Bridge Reservoirand all sitesat the Mongaupand Rio Projects. You further statethat the TorontoReservoiris openfor recreational use. While the June 1 letter doesnot indicatethe reasons the closures,we are aware for that you havebeenworking with the Commission'sDivision of Dam Safetyand Inspections (D2SI) to address dam safetyconcernsat the SwingingBridge Project. We agreethat the recreationareasat the SwingingBridge Reservoirandthe Mongaupand Rio Projectsshouldbe temporarilycloseduntil it is determined that the areasare safefor recreational use. You includedin your letter a copy of the signagewhich you stateis posted throughoutthe recreationalareas informing the public of the closuresandproviding a phonenumberfor additionalinformation.
