									Sponsor Guide
green is good business
Companies across the country are taking advantage of the growing popularity of “green
lifestyle” festivals such as the Garden State GreenFest. We invite your company to participate as
a sponsor and exhibitor in the largest environmental lifestyle show in New Jersey on March 18-
20, 2011.

We Started by Putting the Garden Back in the Garden State

Consumer interest is at an all-time high for Green Building, Green Transportation, Sustainable
Agriculture, Resource Conservation and Legislative Action. Our inaugural event, The 2008 Global
Green Expo held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey was a three-day event
attracting over 12,000 attendees, and 2009’s PSEG GreenFest drew 14,000 green-conscious
consumers, business executives and students.

If A Green Show Falls in the Forest and There’s No One There To Hear It…

The Garden State GreenFest has been remarkably successful right from the get go by using the
potent combination of world class speakers and unprecedented media promotion and
coverage. The 2011 event is co-produced by The Star-Ledger. Proud of their affiliation with the
Garden State GreenFest, the Star-Ledger launches advertising and public relation campaigns
months before the event. In and of itself this would ensure successful marketing campaigns and
expos for our sponsors. But we don’t stop there. Several supporting newspapers, radio stations
and billboards are used prior to the event to ensure that the message of information, inspiration,
and action is seared into the consciousness of readers, viewers, listeners, consumers.

Thus the Locally Grown, Organic Cherry on Top

That’s how we refer to Garden State GreenFest when talking to sponsors - the organic, locally-
grown cherry on top of a huge, delicious hot fudge promotional sundae! Consider this: the first
GreenFest produced over 120 million unique ad impressions and 90 million public relations
impressions. The result of this effort? 12,000 attendees. That’s a lot of people but taken into the
context of the above numbers you begin to understand the logic of the cherry analogy.

our mission
Information. Inspiration. Action.

and…
Saving the Planet One Person at a Time.
