The Kavli Prize , set up in 2005 through a joint venture among the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters, the Kavli Foundation and the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research, aims at awarding three international prizes every second year for outstanding work in the fields of astrophysics, nanoscience and neuroscience.
