Workshop I – Management Overview
   Definition of manage, management
   Why do we manage? Brief description of the way society evolved to
     encourage management
   How do we put the definitions to real-life use? Set S.M.A.R.T. goals
          Specific
          Measurable
          Achievable
          Realistic
          Time-based
   Identify the different aspects of management
          Personal
          Inter-Personal
          Project-Based
          Group
   List out the specific workshops to follow during the rest of the summer

Workshop II – Personal Development
   Know yourself to grow yourself: It has been estimated that 80% of what
     we do, think, and say is unconscious. So for personal growth, we must
     start to become conscious of what is now unconscious in our lives.
          Growth requires objectivity. Very often people are too emotionally
             biased about oneself that one cannot bring about beneficial
             internal changes.
          Emotions such as egotism is discussed
          Emotions such as low self-esteem is discussed
   EQ: What is emotional quotient? Do we need it?
          Take a test and find out
   Breaking Bad Habits: Let us look at the steps to how it’s done
          Becoming Aware
          Monitor the Seriousness
          Examine the Motivation
          Examine the Consequences
          Decision-Time
          Remember to reward yourself
   Management tips for everyday personal development

Workshop III – Focus Your Energies
    It is not how hard you work; it is what you get done. So problem solving
     and decision making becomes a very vital skill to possess.
           Define the Problem/Issue
           Look at Potential Causes for the Problem
           Identify alternatives for approaches to resolve the problem
           Decide and put your action into plan
           Verify if the problem has been resolved or not
    Common Decision-Making Mistakes
           Relying too much on ‘expert’ information
           Overestimating & Underestimating the value of information
             received from others
           Only hearing what you want to hear and seeing what you want to
           Not listening to your feelings and gut reactions
    Decision-making tips for everyday use
