This agreement will be valid and in-effect (for CDP - Tech Prep Grant Purposes) for 3 years from the date of signing. Both the High School Partner and MCCC agree that if major curricular
changes take place which would impact this agreement, modifications may be made.
ARTICULATION AGREEMENT GUIDELINES
Once a student has completed appropriate coursework at his/her high school he/she may sign-up to complete the course competency (Tech
Prep) test matching the course. This test will be developed by the MCCC faculty, maintained at the high school by the Tech Prep
Contact/Counselor, and administered by the appropriate high school teacher.
2 If the student passes the test with a grade of C or better, the student must complete a College Application for Admission and follow all
"standard" procedures, and meet all requirements for admission to the College. These will be found in the College Catalog.
The High School teacher and/or High School Administrator must verify with signatures that they recommend that the student receive
3 articulated credit for the course identified. The signatures will be found on the Articulated Credit/Tech Prep Credit Verification Form
which must be submitted for each course for which a student wishes to receive college credit. Additional information may be obtained at
4 To satisfy Tech Prep grant requirements, requested credit for Articulated coursework must be in a state approved secondary Career and
Technical Education program. If this proposal is not intended to apply to the receipt of Tech Prep Grant funds, it can be accepted as written.
5 Articulated credit for Tech Prep courses will be indicated an a transcript/record maintained by the College which will include course number,
title and credit hours.
6 There are no fees, costs, or tuition charged to the student for Tech Prep articulated coursework.
