BILLBOARD TO PRESENT THE BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS

Renowned Producer Tony Mojena Continues at the Helm of
Latin Music's Hottest Night

Long Term Deal Centers on Robust Three-Screen Content

MIAMI -January 22, 2009 - Telemundo Communications Group, a
leading producer of high-quality content for Hispanics in
the U.S. and audiences around the world, announced today
that the network has extended its multi-year deal with
Billboard, a premier global music brand, to present the
annual Billboard Latin Music Awards, with renowned
producer, Tony Mojena continuing as the show's Executive
Producer.

This unprecedented agreement grants Telemundo expanded
exclusive rights across multiple platforms including
television, online and mobile. This year's Billboard Latin
Music Awards commemorates the 11th year Telemundo
broadcasts the show and will air live in the United States
and internationally on Thursday, April 23, 2009. The
Billboard Latin Music Awards are the culmination of the
Billboard Latin Music Conference - The largest gathering of
Latin Music professionals in the world. This year's
conference, celebrating its 20th anniversary, is taking
place April 19-23 at the Eden Roc in Miami Beach.

most successful franchises, with last year's show proving

Under the new agreement, Telemundo holds exclusive rights
to produce and distribute programming related to the
Billboard Latin Music Awards. Planned programs currently
include:

La Alfombra Roja de los Premios Billboard The biggest night
in Latin music begins with the live, star-studded red
carpet arrivals. The biggest names in Latin entertainment
will strut down the Billboard Latin Music Awards red carpet
where viewers can enjoy live interviews with all the stars,
the best in fashion and music and all the excitement just
moments before the big show.

Premios Billboard de la Musica Latina
The 2009 Billboard Latin Music Awards will be presented
LIVE and will feature a star-studded line-up of performers
who will dazzle the stage.

Reventón Billboard 2009
"Reventón Billboard" will feature behind-the-scenes
coverage of the Billboard Latin Music Awards and the
numerous events surrounding the award show. The special
will include many Billboard Latin Music Awards related
events including the Billboard Bash, the Billboard Latin
Music Conference, rehearsals and the after parties. The all
access program will air on mun2.

mun2 Premios Billboard All Access
mun2's very own Pico and Yasmin will host the "Premios
Billboard All Access" special. The show will feature
interviews with finalists from the red carpet, performance
highlights and a review of the winners in the top
categories.

On the digital front, the new deal secures Telemundo.com as
the official Billboard Latin Music Awards website with
fully bilingual coverage and content living between
Telemundo.com and holamun2.com. The site, which will remain
live for the entire year, is designed to super-serve the
Telemundo audience by providing a multi-screen dialogue
with users, making their viewing experience more robust.

Telemundo.com will provide visitors with information and
articles about the history of the award show, the co-hosts,
and a data archive of the past ten years of the show in all
categories. In addition, users will find comprehensive
video coverage of the most important events and high
profile artists during the week of the conference and the
awards. Billboard's weekly Hot Latin Songs and Hot Latin
Albums charts will also be featured on the site as well as
chart data on previous winners and years.

Telemundo's digital properties will offer users Billboard
articles and interviews with finalists in English and in
Spanish as well as behind-the-scenes footage of Latin
music's biggest night.

Sponsorships are available to clients and advertisers
through a series of ad-supported vignettes, produced by
Telemundo that will air in the days leading up to the
awards which will feature performance excerpts and profiles
of the finalists. Additionally, Telemundo may brand current
network programs with a Billboard theme to promote tune-in
in advance of the special.
