Genny surname, Country Director, CARE Tajikistan welcomed the participants and expressed that we are glad to be part of Good Practice Working Group. She briefed the part
about CARE International and the of disaster management programmes around the world. Tsunami hit 80 % of countries where CARE is working so CARE is not only take dis
reduction seriously but CARE has also felt the major impact a disaster can have on individuals and communities. CARE were therefore in a position to respond immediateely to

Each participant had a copy of the agenda and the summary from the first working group meeting. The participants reviewed the goal and specific objectives of the working pla
practices and came up with the following suggestions regarding each specific objective:
