MassMutual Retirement Services Adds Four New Offerings and Changes two Fund Managers of Retirement Plan Investment Options (Springfield, Mass., January 14, 2002) – MassMutual Retirement Services has added four investment options and six new managers to the more than 70 offerings available to retirement plans in its Concert Investment Program. The new investment options are: MM Fundamental Value will be managed by Wellington Management Company. This investment option is designed to offer an actively managed traditional large cap value strategy. MM Large Cap Growth will be managed by Alliance Capital. Within the Concert investment lineup, this option offers an additional, actively managed large cap core growth option. MM Small Company Value will be co-managed by T. Rowe Price and Clover Capital Management. The new option will provide a disciplined offering within the small/mid cap Value asset class. MM Small Company Growth will also be dual-managed by Mazama Capital Management, a boutique firm, and Allied Investment Advisers, an aggressive and flexible firm. Within Concert, this option represents an aggressively managed small cap growth offering. The new options were added to enhance the existing investment offerings, with the objective of providing access to high-quality long-term investment opportunities for instututional retirement plan sponsors. These options provide further diversification within the investment program by manager, asset class, style and strategy. Morgan as co-manager of the MM Small Cap Growth Fund. Bernstein Research & Investment Management has been added as a co-manager to the MM Core Value Equity Fund.
