GENERAL INFORMATION
This Manual Revised: July 2009 / June 2010
• OUR HISTORY. . . .
The I.C.S.G. (Independent Christian Schools of Georgia) was officially formed and
organized in the Spring of 1993 as the result of the burden and vision of our
founder, Ronald McCurry of SouthPointe Church and Heritage Christian School.
After belonging to several athletic associations from 1974-1984, Heritage decided
to withdraw from those associations and play an independent schedule for the next
few years. Although we were certainly happy with this arrangement, the one
downside to playing an independent schedule was that there were not any region or
state playoff possibilities. After much prayer and discussion with those within our
own ministry as well as those outside of our ministry, we believed it was possible
to form a league that would be founded on the principles of the Word of God
without interfering with how each ministry would operate their own schools. As a
result, the league began competition in 1993-94 with Heritage Christian, Prince
Avenue, Christian Heritage, East Metro, Alleluia Community School, and Water of
Life. During the spring of 1997, the A.G.C.A.A. (Alabama-Georgia Christian
Athletic Association) officially dissolved and requested entrance into the I.C.S.G.
As a result, we formed what is now known as the I.C.S.G.A., (Independent
Christian Schools of Georgia and Alabama). During the spring of 2004, the
G.A.C.A.C. (Greater Atlanta Christian Athletic Conference officially dissolved and
became part of the I.C.S.G.A. As a result, the I.C.S.G.A. presently has
approximately 25 member schools. As of 2006 I.C.S.G.A. was established as a
Limited Liability Company, now known as, Independent Christian Schools of
Georgia and Alabama, hereinafter called I.C.S.G.A., LLC.
• OUR PURPOSE. . . .
The I.C.S.G.A., LLC is an athletic association designed to support the ideals of
Christian Schools and Christian Educators throughout the State of Georgia and
Alabama. Our main purposes are as follows:
• To have an athletic association that offers a full range of athletic com-
petition in as many sports as possible, and have region and state play-
off competition in all sports.
• To provide a forum for student athletes to sharpen their athletic skills
and to encourage them to be a reflection of the Lord Jesus Christ at all
times.
• To teach life’s basic lessons through athletic competition.
• To truly glorify Christ in every single thing we do and say.
1
• OUR PHILOSOPHY. . . .
The I.C.S.G.A., LLC is first and foremost unashamedly Christian. Because of
this simple foundation, our athletic association operates on the precepts and
principles that are found in the Word of God. In any situation that may arise,
we must all remember that we are first and foremost ambassadors of the Lord
Jesus Christ, and that we represent Him as an association, school, team, and
individuals. We must show forth the glory and person of Christ by every
action and word to others. Because of our Christian foundation, our
association will always attempt to settle any disputes within the framework of
the Word of God in a godly and honorable way.
• OUR GOALS. . . .
As a Christian athletic association and as Christian schools, we must ask what
our goals are. Are we attempting to produce a great athlete or a great adult?
With this in mind the goals of the I.C.S.G.A., LLC are as follows:
• To honor Jesus Christ in everything we do.
• To maintain the highest possible standards for leadership.
• To maintain the highest possible standards in conduct and practice for
schools, athletes, coaches, and fans.
• To continue to seek to improve our association each year.
• To encourage and recruit new schools into our association.
• To covenant one with another that we will keep problems and strife out of
our association by refusing to gossip and by conducting ourselves ac-
cording to the Word of God.
• OUR LEADERSHIP. . . .
In constructing anything of value, one must seriously consider the strength and
ordinance of the foundation upon which it sits. The two distinct choices
according to the Bible are found in the analogies of rock and sand. If it is
important enough to warrant our time and money, then surely rock is the most
appropriate choice.
Satan can and will penetrate everything he can to cause division, confusion,
and ultimate destruction. Satan can even penetrate the church for whom Christ
died but he will never be able to destroy it. This is the very promise of God.
Democracies, boards of directors, other groups, have no such promise.
2
The I.C.S.G.A., LLC was founded on these very principles. With this in mind,
our league was founded under the principals of the local church. This does not
imply that your ministry must believe exactly what we believe or act like we
act. What it does mean is that we believe that all things that are Christian must
be founded under the authority of a local church. The local church does not
participate in or interfere with the daily responsibilities of the running of the
league, and would only intervene if called upon to help ensure that the league
does not waver from its original founding purpose, philosophy, and goals.
(Removed balance of this paragraph)
If, for any reason the founder decides that he no longer desires to be involved
in the leadership of the league, it will remain the responsibility of the founder
to appoint his successor to an individual and/or ministry that adheres to the
same founding principles upon which the league was founded, and which
adheres to the functioning rules of the LLC.
The leadership structure of the I.C.S.G.A., LLC is made up of a (1) Founder/
Manager. As Founder/manager he has chosen to establish the following
categories of leadership: Executive Director, Executive Committee and
Commissioners for each sport.
The I.C.S.G.A. does not have any paid employees. All persons serving in any
capacity within the league do so as a volunteer.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Our present executive director is Buddy Hammock from Ballard Christian.
Buddy also serves as pastor/elder of Believers Church and principal of Ballard
Christian. Buddy has extensive experience in athletic association leadership.
At one time he served as the founder and director of the A.G.C.C.A. Athletic
Association. His responsibilities include the general day to day running of the
I.C.S.G.A., LLC, under the direction of the Founder/Manager. He also plans
and organizes region and state playoff sites. Commissioners and executive
committee members fall under the authority of the executive director. All
general questions relating to all sports activities, schools, etc., should come
directly to the executive director. Generally, the executive director also
presides over all I.C.S.G.A., LLC meetings. His responsibilities include the
general oversight of the league. The executive director, commissioners, and
executive committee members fall under the authority of the
Founder/Manager. It is understood that all policy decisions are reached as a
consensus of the executive committee. Should there be a problem in reaching a
consensus, the Founder/Manager will make the final decision.
3
COMMISSIONERS
Commissioners are assigned for each sport offered by the I.C.S.G.A., LLC.
They are completely responsible for the particular sport they are assigned to.
Schools may feel free to contact commissions at any time if they have any
questions regarding that sport. Commissioners are responsible to stay in close
contact with the executive director at all times to keep him up to date on
everything that is related to that sport. The executive director will also stay in
contact with commissioners to ensure everything is being done in a timely and
orderly way.
EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE
The executive committee is made up of the Founder/Manager, executive
director, and various commissioners, as designated by the Founder/ Manager.
The executive committee is responsible for making all decisions regarding the
I.C.S.G.A., LLC including, but not limited to, all disputes and hardship cases.
Only the member schools of the league vote on new member schools, and
expulsion of a member school from the league. The executive committee
reserves the right to make any recommendations before any vote is taken. The
executive committee handles all other matters. Executive members will not
vote on matters regarding their own school, but may be part of the discussion.
ROTATING LEADERSHIP
As most of you know from past experience, it is very difficult to find qualified
leadership, people who have been at a particular school for an extended time
and who are willing to invest the necessary time and travel to meet the
demands of a leadership position. Because of this, the I.C.S.G.A., LLC does
not rotate leadership just for the sake of rotating. We have found that it is best
to stay with leadership members as long as they have a desire to serve.
Member schools can express any concern in writing if they feel they are not
being represented properly. Any letters written to the league office or the
executive committee will be kept on file and will be available for member
schools to read. Individuals may also present their names to the executive
committee privately if they should desire to serve in any position if an opening
becomes available. Should a position become available, the Founder/
Manager will present a candidate to the executive director and the executive
committee. If approved by the majority of the committee, the candidate will
then be presented to the member schools at the next possible meeting. Schools
will have one week to express their concerns in writing to the executive
committee if they know of any reason why that person should not be in a
position of leadership.

GENERAL POLICIES
“See current ICSGA Calendar of Events for Important Dates & Reminders”
• OUR GOVERNMENT. . . .
The government of the I.C.S.G.A., LLC. operates much closer to what a
republic would be rather than a democracy (see leadership section). All
schools who are active members in good standing will be able to vote when a
vote is called for on a particular issue. There is only one vote per school. All
schools must either vote (1) for (2) against or (3) abstain. Member schools
who miss more than one meeting per year for reasons other than extreme
emergency will not be eligible to vote on any matter for a period of one year.
Schools participating in their first year of competition will not be eligible to
vote during the first year. All fees must be current before a school can vote
during a new season.
• OUR OFFICE. . . .
I.C.S.G.A., LLC leases two offices at the facility known as SouthPointe
Church and this continues to serve as the official league office of the
I.C.S.G.A., LLC. All correspondence should be sent to:

• OUR MANUAL. . . .
The manual is available for any coach, athletic director, or assistants from the
website. Please make sure all parties involved have read and are familiar with
the rules and requirements of our association. Failure to be knowledgeable
with the guidelines of the association could put your school in an unfortunate
situation that could result in fines or forfeiture of games. SPECIAL NOTE:
Although many specifics are mentioned in this manual, we realize it is
impossible to cover everything that needs to be covered. One of the
original intentions of the league was to stay as vague as possible to guard
against becoming too bureaucratic. Being open, honest, and trusting one
another will go a long way in working through any gray areas that may
arise.
5
All schools and school officials are expected to work through, in a Christ-
like way, any difficulties that may arise which are not specifically
mentioned in the I.C.S.G.A., LLC Manual . The executive board will
intervene if a satisfactory conclusion cannot be reached. The executive
board has the final authority in all matters regarding the guidelines of the
league.
• OUR LEAGUE GUIDELINES . . . .
The I.C.S.G.A., LLC follows National Federation rules for all sports. Any
exceptions will be discussed and outlined in the policy portion of the manual.
Coaches/athletic directors must make certain that referees and/or officials are
informed of rules and guidelines used in the I.C.S.G.A., LLC that may not
apply to Georgia or Alabama High School rules. Rules and guidelines passed
by the I.C.S.G.A., LLC take precedence over all rules and guidelines.
• OUR ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS. . . .
Entrance into the I.C.S.G.A., LLC is accomplished by making application,
meeting with members of the executive board, and by receiving an acceptance
letter from the league office. Generally a minimum of two (2) members of the
executive committee will visit the school making application to the league. In
addition, a $50.00 application fee must be submitted with your application.
Upon acceptance, you must send a $300.00 acceptance fee to the league office
within five (5) days of acceptance.
Each school contacted, nominated, and accepted into membership in the
I.C.S.G.A., LLC will be properly identified and its background given to all
members. Any investigation necessary will be conducted by the current
executive committee prior to acceptance.
A school will meet all financial requirements (see above) along with their
letter of application. All new member schools will serve a probation period of
one year. No new school will be accepted into the league if the above
qualifications have not been met by the May meeting.
• OUR APPLICATION POLICY AT A GLANCE. . . .
1. Complete the application form and include the $50.00 non-refundable
application fee and mail or E-mail it to the address below. Please include a
school and/or church information packet and Statement of Faith.
6
2. A member of the I.C.S.G.A., LLC Executive Committee will contact you to
set up an appointment to meet with your athletic director and to visit your
school. Your principal or administrator is also invited to the meeting.
3. Your application will be processed within 14 days of our visit. You will then
be contacted by the executive director. If accepted, a follow-up letter will be
sent to your school notifying you of your acceptance.
4. All schools accepted into the I.C.S.G.A., LLC are accepted on a one year trial
basis. A follow-up meeting will be scheduled at the end of the first full year to
ensure that both sides have a desire to continue with the Athletic Association.
5. Upon acceptance, your school should send the $300.00 non-refundable
entrance fee within 7 days.
6. We strongly encourage you to give a copy of the league Manual to each head
`coach. Copies may be printed from the ICSGA website at your convenience.
• OUR DISMISSAL POLICY. . . .
• If a school has fundamental differences with the I.C.S.G.A., LLC that they feel
they cannot deal with and they desire to withdraw from the association to join
another association, a letter of notification should be sent to the league office.
The withdrawal should be in a quiet, Christian manner without publicly airing any
personal differences or grievances to other schools. Individuals or schools are
never allowed to contact other schools by circulating letters or notices. The
league will distribute a general message concerning your withdrawal in a godly
and honorable way.
• If the league is unsure whether a member school will be participating in the
league for the next calendar year because (1) the school may have missed one or
more meetings, especially toward the end of the calendar year, (2) league fees are
not current, and/or (3) we have been unable to contact the school during the
summer, the league office will contact the school by telephone or by certified
letter stating that said school will have seven (7) days to respond to let the league
know what their intentions are concerning the new year. If we do not hear from
the school within this time period, the school will be removed from league
membership. NOTE: No member school can begin a new calendar year as a
league member if any fees are due. All past due fees must be current by
August 1.
• Member schools may be dismissed for any of the following reasons:
1. A pattern of game cancellations with little or no notice to the other
schools.
2. Verifiable violations of association policy with no corrective action. It is
the responsibility of the executive committee to bring before the member
schools any pattern of behavior that might disqualify a school from
7
membership. A school will have an opportunity to change their conduct or
the conduct of their athletes. Our desire would be a model of biblical
repentance and restoration. Only in the instances of habitual policy
violations would dismissal be considered.
3. Any program under threat of dismissal will have an opportunity to
present their case to the executive committee if they so desire and answer
any charges. If the matter can be worked through at this time, no
further action will be taken. If the matter proves to be more serious
and cannot be worked out, it will be presented to the executive commit-
tee for a vote. A 100% vote would be required to dismiss any member
school.
• Calendar of Events:
The preliminary I.C.S.G.A., LLC athletic calendar is available on the website in
May of each year and is finalized on August 1. Please make certain that your
principal and/or administrator sees or gets a copy of this calendar as soon as
possible to ensure there are no conflicts with your school calendar.
• Conduct:
All schools should have a “common sense” code of conduct in place for their
facilities for all athletic contests. The host, athletic director, principal,
administrator, or pastor should be ready at all times to enforce the code of conduct
if the need arises. Schools can file official complaints with the league office if a
problem arises in this area. Official complaints will be handled by the executive
committee.
• Contracts:
Game schedules will serve as the official contract between schools. Schedules
should be finalized and returned to the league office by the due dates. (At least
four weeks prior to the first game of the season in any sport.)
Schools and coaches should work harmoniously together if it becomes necessary
to change a scheduled event either before or during the season. Any change to the
official schedule must be approved by the league office. Changes should only be
done in cases of rare or extreme circumstances that cannot be avoided. The
school or coach making the request should be willing to reschedule on any other
available day to accommodate the other school including Mondays, Thursdays,
and Saturdays. If they are not willing to do so, it will result in a forfeit. Any
other scheduling disputes will be handled by the executive committee members
not involved in the issue. Fines and costs of referees will remain applicable.
Cancellation penalties are:
• 7 days or more prior to date of the event if approved by the league
office and both teams are in agreement. – no fine
8
• 7 days or less prior to date of the event – $50.00 (See “Fines” section of the
Manual)
• Second cancellation within the year - $100.00 (See “Fines” section of the Manual)
• Third cancellation - $200.00 - schools face possible expulsion from the
association.
• School in violation also agrees to pay cost of referees.
• Only in rare circumstances should an I.C.S.G.A., LLC game be changed
after the schedule has been finalized and turned in to the league office.
(At least one week prior to first game.) The league must approve any
changes to the schedules that have been sent to the league office.
• A fine of $150.00 should be sent to the league office if schools drop
one or more teams from any sport after the deadline date. This includes
the cheerleading competition.
Special Note: Cancellations of games and no-shows will not be tolerated by the
I.C.S.G.A., LLC at any level. Such practices will destroy the credibility and
character of the league itself and the schools we represent.
No-Shows: If a team does not show up for a scheduled game, a fine of $200.00 will
be imposed. Reasonable travel expenses must be paid to the other team. The
executive committee reserves the right to determine the amount of such expenses.
The game will be counted as a forfeit (lose) for the team not showing up. Teams not
showing up for a game may be placed on probation or expelled from the league on a
first offense if the situation warrants it.
• Classifications:
Depending on the number of schools participating in any given sport, the
I.C.S.G.A., LLC may offer one or two different levels of competition for some
sports. As we continue to grow, the classifications will be expanded to all sports.
Class A will be offered for smaller schools (50 students or less in grades 9-12 –
Approximate Number) and Class AA is offered for larger schools (51 students or
more in grades 9-12 – Approximate Number), provided we have a sufficient
number of schools participating. If a school has any home-schooled athletes
participating, they must be included in the total number of students enrolled. The
league reserves the right to change the number of students in grades 9-12 to
determine classification.
Coaching Requirements for all Member Schools & Sports:

game schedules will not be accepted as official league rosters if they are not
recorded on I.C.S.G.A., LLC forms.
• Hardships:
Schools desiring to present “hardship cases” must first make the request in writing
on the proper forms and send them to the league office. Hardship cases should be
in keeping with the basic guidelines established by the league. All hardship cases
will be reviewed and voted on by the executive committee. Hardship cases are
reviewed only three times per year: July 1-August 15 / October 15-31 / February
15-28.
Schools or coaches knowing of any reason(s) that a hardship case should not be
considered should state the reason(s) and send it to the league office. The case
will then be reviewed again by the executive committee and responded to within
five days.
• Protesting Games and/or Matches:
Member schools who feel that they need to file an “Official Complaint” for the
other school failing to abide by the basic minimum requirements for any sport
should first inform the opposing team of the problem to see if it can be easily
remedied. If the problem can’t be solved, the coach should inform the opposing
coach that the game/match is being played under protest. A full report should be
written and sent to the league office immediately. The executive committee will
determine the validity of the complaint. Failure to abide by league rules could
result in the forfeiture of game.
15
• Hosting Of Association Tournaments:
Any school desiring to host a championship tournament must possess or secure
fields, gyms, or other facilities that meet all National Federation standards.
There are no exceptions to this procedure. All JV region tournaments are
hosted by the top seeded team in the region provided they have approved facilities
and desire to host the event. Host teams will secure officials and will pay officials
from the gate receipts. The host school will keep 100% profit from the gate and
concessions for all sports. (Exceptions: State Championship Matches or
Games) All Varsity sub-state games will be played at the higher seed. Schools
must have approved facilities to host any sub-state game. Host schools will
provide all officials and will pay officials from the gate receipts. Host schools
keep 100% of gate and concession profits after expenses. The I.C.S.G.A. will
provide officials for state championship matches or games.
• Insurance Liability: Fee - $ 200.00 per year
Each school or educational ministry must have or provide the necessary medical
coverage for their athletes. A school’s responsibility may be to mandate that
parents cover their own children or provide a group-type sports injury plan.
Visiting teams should never rely on a host to provide any medical coverage unless
there is negligence involved. The executive committee will handle any disputes
in these areas.
The I.C.S.G.A. also requires each member school participating in one or more
sports to pay an annual insurance fee. This policy is for the purpose of protecting
the I.C.S.G.A. and its officials who serve in any capacity from any legal action
that may be taken against the I.C.S.G.A., LLC and its officers. This policy does
not cover any member school or participating coaches or athletes.
Schools are also responsible to pay a “Per Athlete” insurance fee. This policy is
also designed to cover the I.C.S.G.A., LLC and its officials in case of a lawsuit or
other legal litigation. The total amount of these insurance fees is made available
on the website by July 15th of each year. No school can participate in any sport
unless these fees have been received in the league office.
• J.V. Age:
A Junior Varsity player must not turn sixteen before September 1 for all
sports during the year. A player eligible for Junior Varsity and Varsity
competition should not be starting on both J.V. and Varsity teams unless a school
has a legitimate numbers problem in fielding a team. The commissioner of the
related sport should be contacted if a school has a legitimate numbers problem.
Athletes playing both ways in other sports must be approved by the executive
committee before league play begins.
16
• League Meetings: See the Current ICSGA,LLC Calendar of Events for dates of mtg.
All teams are required to send one representative to all I.C.S.G.A., LLC meetings.
A minimum of two meetings are scheduled per year: in November and May.
There is also a $50.00 fine for not sending a representative to a meeting. A
pattern of attendance violations could result in expulsion from the league.
Special note: Schools should send only one or two representatives to a
scheduled meeting. Schools desiring to bring any other person(s) for any
reason must first send the request to the league office in writing stating who
the person is, their official position, and their purpose for attending the
meeting. The meeting minutes can be reviewed and read on the I.C.S.G.A., LLC
website.
• Make-Up Games:
Schools needing to make up games should work cooperatively together. If
schools cannot agree on times and dates for these games, the commissioner should
be contacted immediately. The executive committee will make the final
determination in all related matters. If the problem affects a school that has an
executive member, that executive member will not cast a vote in the matter.
• Maps:
All member schools are responsible to provide detailed directions to all schools
indicating the location of your home games. If your gym/field locations change,
send updated information to other I.C.S.G.A., LLC teams and the league office. A
mapQuest link is also available on the I.C.S.G.A., LLC website.
• Member Login Section:
The official website of the I.C.S.G.A., LLC includes a member Login Section.
Each member school’s athletic director is assigned a user ID and a password. The
user ID and password is intended for your school only. They are not to be given to
anyone else without permission from the league office. These member codes are
generally changed every year for security reasons. The member school Login
Section gives schools the ability to (1) check e-mails, (2) check when the league
office received your sports fees, (3) to see if your school presently owes any fines,
(4) to get detailed school information of each member school, and (5) to
upload game results as soon as possible of each week.
• Membership Identification:
All member schools will be given an official I.C.S.G.A., LLC membership
certificate that identifies your school as an official member of the I.C.S.G.A., LLC
These must be displayed in a prominent place in your school. These forms can be
printed from the I.C.S.G.A., LLC website at www.icsga.org in August of each
year.
• Pass List:
17
Each school is responsible to complete a Pass List Form for each sports season
(Fall-Winter-Spring) and email the list to Buddy Hammock at
bhammock@icsga.org. Schools are limited to a total of 15 people. The list should
include coaches, administration, assistant coaches, Pastors, etc. Persons not
appearing on a Pass List Form must pay full gate prices no matter who they are.
Parents, coaches, and others not producing the Pass List at the gate will be
charged regular admission to all athletic contests.
• Proud Member Banner:
Each school is required to purchase and display a “Proud Member Banner” in
your school or gymnasium. The cost of the banner is $75.00.
• Referees:
Referees are to be with an “approved” association. They are to be in proper
uniform at all times. No students, coaches, parents, teachers, associates, etc.
(although they may be a legal official with an association) should ever be
scheduled for your games. Teams may file protests concerning any of the
violations mentioned above but may not file a complaint on the quality of a
referee or association. Using unapproved officials could result in the loss of a
game(s). Member schools should not use MBOA Referee Association. MBOA
presently calls all I.C.S.G.A., LLC regional, sub-state, and state basketball
playoffs.
• Recruiting Athletes:
Schools/Coaches are not allowed to recruit athletes to your school or program for
the purpose of athletic competition. Schools/Coaches found to be in violation of
the policy could face fines and possible expulsion from the league. Coaches could
face suspension or a permanent ban from coaching in the I.C.S.G.A.
• Rosters:
All team rosters must be E-mailed to Buddy Hammock @ bhammock@icsga.org
All rosters must be on I.C.S.G.A., LLC roster forms. The league office will
contact schools who have not turned in rosters. Schools will then have seven days
to respond. If a problem continues, the executive committee could impose
sanctions that include a fine and/or forfeiture of games.
• Scheduling:
It is our desire to schedule as many I.C.S.G.A., LLC games as possible at
meetings during the year. However, because we only have two league meetings
per year schools will need to schedule most games by contacting them personally
by phone or e-mail. After your schedule is finalized, a copy must be E-mailed to
Buddy Hammock @ bhammock@icsga.org Schedules have to be completed
on-line. Please refer to the I.C.S.G.A., LLC official calendar for deadline dates for
schedules. Game schedules can be viewed online. All schedules serve as game
contracts. Teams must schedule region games first. We also encourage schools
18
to give scheduling priority to schools within their same classification then attempt
to schedule as many I.C.S.G.A., LLC games as possible. I.C.S.G.A., LLC member
schools must have priority in scheduling.
• Standings:
Weekly scores of all region and non-region games are to be uploaded from the
Member Section of the website as soon as possible each week to the league office.
Scores and standings will be posted on our website at www.icsga.org. There is a
$25.00 fine if schools do not Upload Game Results in a timely manner.
Special note: Only the home team is responsible for Uploading game scores
after every game. Each School Athletic Director should check the Standings as
often a possible, if your record are not correct, contact Buddy Hammock @
bhammock@icsga.org or Cell # 1-334-707-0327.
• Transfer Rule:
There will be no transfers from one I.C.S.G.A., LLC school to another without the
student’s family either moving into another school’s area or that student having to
sit out a calendar year of sports participation. This applies to students in 8th - 12th
grade and covers all sports including cheerleading.
Exception Clause: The above stated transfer rule does not apply if the school that
a student is transferring from is willing to sign-off on that student and family.
When a school signs-off on a student and family, they are indicating that there are
no problems with the transfer and that both schools are in complete agreement.
The principal or administrator, athletic director and head coach must be the ones
who sign-off on the student. Student/athletes may not transfer a second time to
another school or back to the same school they originally transferred from without
being ineligible for one calendar year. If there are unusual circumstances
involved in the 3rd transfer, a school may file a “Hardship Request Form” and a
“Transfer Form” with the executive board. The executive board will make all
final decisions regarding transfers. Parents should be informed of this transfer
policy during the interview before enrollment is finalized. A school can request a
hearing with the executive committee if they feel a school has not been
completely honest as to the reasons they would not sign-off on an athlete. The
executive committee will make the final decision in all cases involving transfers.
