Ridgecrest, CA, January 04, 2011 -- Residents of Ridgecrest, CA have been
noticing a change in the past few months on the corner of Norma Street
and Drummond Avenue. The buildings of Ridgecrest Apartments got new
bright and clean exterior paint – as did the playground in front of it
- and the landscaping became more inviting as well. The owners of the
complex decided to close the troubled past of Briarwood Apartments and
open a new chapter with a new vision and a new name to build the
foundation for the rise of a new community in the High Desert: Ridgecrest
Apartments.

In the fall of 2010, the owners of the apartment complex hired an
Apartment Community Management Company, to clean up the complex and start
renting the units at lower prices but higher standards of excellence.
"They have remodeled the majority of homes which are already rented,"
says Arlene Chavez, Manager of sister community Ridgecrest Springs, "and
I know that we will notice further improvements as they continue the work
of beautifying the apartments so they can offer more affordable rentals
to people joining that community."

The New Management took over on November 1st. Many of the apartments
waiting to be rented got a coat of new paint, new carpet and new tiles
since then. Their policy is to have all maintenance issues handled
promptly within 48 hours and their on-site maintenance personnel handle
emergencies immediately. They also implemented a new Tenant Screening
Process. "The safety of our tenants is very important to us; therefore,
we now require that all new applicants undergo a criminal background
check and credit check", says Nanda Damiani, the new Manager of the
community.

The complex has its own playground, laundry room and full-time staff.
They are also pet friendly, allowing cats, dogs and other small house
pets. The Norma-Drummond corner is a prime location in Ridgecrest. 5
minutes from The Base, the Maturango Museum, Las Flores Elementary
School, Ridgecrest Community Hospital, several restaurants, café shops
and churches, Ridgecrest Apartments offers residents an easy walk to
work, school or just to have fun.

As more apartments become available, the new Management offers monthly
specials – that can be found at http://www.ridgecrestapartment.com - in
hopes of enticing residents of Ridgecrest into giving the renewed
apartment complex a try. For the month of January, they offer a New Years
Bonus: 1 month free on a 12-month lease. They also give military
discounts to provide off-base housing for those working on the China Lake
Naval Air Weapon Station (NAWS). Student discounts are available to Cerro
Coso Community College students, as well as a roommate match service to
make their rent even cheaper. With spacious 2 and 3 bedroom apartments
starting at only $550 a month and several rent specials and rebates
Ridgecrest Apartments is definitely worth checking out when looking for a
new home in Ridgecrest.
