         The Professional Development Department at Sandhills Community College is the region’s
      source for adult learners who wish to hone particular workplace skills, need certification or
      recertification in certain areas, improve their marketability, or simply need a refresher course.
      These courses meet the criteria for awarding Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
        The NC General Assembly authorizes a registration fee waiver for one continuing education
      course per semester for legal NC residents aged 65 years and older. The technology fee is not
      waived. This does not pertain to “all must pay” courses.
