God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into
the heart of the sea, though its waters (rage) and foam and the mountains quake

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your
hand against the anger of my (enemies), with your right hand you save me. - Psalm
138:7

You are my mighty rock, my fortress, my protector, the rock where I am safe,
my shield, my powerful weapon, and my place of shelter. I praise you, LORD! I
prayed, and you rescued me from my enemies. - Psalm 18:2-3 (CEV)

The LORD doesn't hate or despise the helpless in all of their troubles. When I cried
out, he listened and did not turn away. - Psalm 22:24 (CEV)

Though (you) stumble, (you) will not fall, for the Lord (will uphold you) with his

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust him. -

The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. - Psalm
9:9
Because the (Lord) won't ever walk out and fail to return. If he works severely, he
also works tenderly. His stockpiles of loyal love are immense. He takes no
pleasure in making life hard, in throwing roadblocks in the way. - Lamentations

Courage

For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones.
They will be protected forever, but the offspring of the wicked will be cut off. -
Psalm 37:28

But now, this is what the Lord says (…) ―Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have
called you by name, you are mine.‖ - Isaiah 43:1

He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. - Isaiah 40:29

Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. - Psalm 31:24

I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned
the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry,
whether living in plenty or in want. I can do everything through him who gives me

not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. -

Fear

For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you,
Do not fear, I will help you. - Isaiah 41:13

―(followers of Jesus), don’t be afraid! Your Father wants to give you the
kingdom.‖ - Luke 12:32 (CEV)
―But whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm.‖

Jesus says, ―Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul ...‖
- Matthew 10:28

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the
Lord will be your confidence, and will keep your foot from being snared. -

For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and self-
discipline. - 2 Timothy 1:7

The Lord will set you free from your sorrow, suffering, and bondage. - Isaiah 14:3

When you lie down, you will not be afraid, when you lie down, your sleep will be

―For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their
prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.‖
Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should
suffer for what is right, you are blessed. ―Do not fear what they fear; do not be

God's Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he
is, and we know who we are: (he is our) Father and (we are his) children. And we
know we are going to get what's coming to us—an unbelievable inheritance! We
go through exactly what Christ goes through. If we go through the hard times with
him, then we're certainly going to go through the good times with him!

So we say with confidence. ―The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can

“Do not be afraid; you will not suffer shame. Do not fear disgrace, you will not be
humiliated.” - Isaiah 54:4

When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and when you pass through
the rivers, they will not sweep over you.
When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set
you ablaze. - Isaiah 43:2

Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as
the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” - John
14:27

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil,
for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table
before me in the presence of my enemies.

The Lord is my light and my salvation - whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life - of whom shall I be afraid? ... Though an
army besiege me, my heart will not fear; though war break out against me, even
then will I be confident. - Psalm 27:1,3

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither
the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything
else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ
Jesus our Lord. - Romans 8:37-39

Help in Troubles

The Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the
Lord loves the righteous. - Psalm 146:8

The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.

You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with
songs of deliverance. - Psalm 32:7

Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life
again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. - Psalm 71:20

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my
portion forever. - Psalm 73:26

and no terrible disasters will strike you or your home. God will command his
angels to protect you wherever you go.- Psalm 91:10,11 (CEV)

You, O Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. - Psalm
18:28

A righteousness man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from
them all. - Psalm 34:19

(…) don't be glad because of my troubles! I may have fallen, but I will get up; I
may be sitting in the dark, but the LORD is my light. – Micah 7:8

Jesus said, ―I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this
world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.‖ - John

REJOICE

All who belong to the Lord, show how you love him. The Lord protects the
faithful… - Psalm 31:23 (CEV)

―Surely God does not reject a blameless man or strengthen the hands of evildoers.
He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.‖ - Job
8:20-21
