Other File Names and Definitions
File Name                             Definition
BuildVersion.properties               This file specifies the current version of PC3Server the user has on his/her
                                      desktop.

ccc.bat                               Calls version.bat. Once version.bat is executed, executes runccc.bat.

ccc.properties                        This takes the place of the CCCentral.properties file. It configures PC3Server on
                                      the user’s desktop. Administration and MSC will use different ccc.properties
                                      files.

runccc.bat                            Initializes Express files, manages output files, then launches the remaining jars
                                      which starts up PC3. It also directs PC3 output flow to the appropriate output file.
StagedVersionControl.jar,             The stagedVersionControl.jar checks to see which files PC3Server needs, installs
                                      any missing or updated files, then prints out all the files that were installed to
                                      verctrl.txt.The java class files that make up this jar file are PFGTools.class,
                                      DeletedControlProperties.class, KeyProperties.class, VersionComparator.class,
                                      VersionControl.class, VersionProperties.class.

Tsapi.pro                             This file specifies the telephony server the MSC location is linked to. DM and GI
                                      have separate versions..

UserPreferences.properties            This file is created when a user selects verb pops as a preference in PC3Server.
                                      When present, it holds the EnableVerbPop variable value of true.

Verctrl.txt                           Blank file initially, it holds info pertaining to new file installations.

Version.bat (2 versions)              Both call the JRE to launch the stagedVersionControl.jar. The initial setup
                                      version.bat adds a “new user” parameter to the VersionControl constructor,
                                      executing new user instructions. The second version.bat calls the default
                                      VersionControl constructor, updating new files to existing users, if applicable.

VersionControl.properties (initial)   This is the VersionControl.properties file that is installed initially. It is a shell that
                                      is later overlaid by the VersionControlPrimary.properties content.
                                      VersionControlPrimary.properties shows as VersionControl.properties in
                                      C:\PC3Server.

VersionControlConfig.properties       Defines Lan file directory structure for VersionControl.class in the
                                      stagedVersionControl.jar so that it knows how to check to see which ones the user
                                      needs. Administration and MSC have different versions of this file.

VersionControlPrimary.properties      The VersionControlPrimary.properties file is used to document transfer file
                                      information, determine the transfer date and time, and track version control
                                      information for the files distributed to the client’s PC. Administration and MSC
                                      have different versions of this file.

VersionControlSecondary.properties    A previous version of VersionControlPrimary.properties file, this file is used by
                                      the VersionControl.class to revert back to the previous released version of files
                                      distributed to the user’s desktop.
