Installing SAP GUI

There are following steps for installation of the SAP GUI.


1- )   Use the following Path for the SAP GUI Installation:
       X:\SAPGUI\GUI\WINDOWS\WIN32\SapGuiSetup.exe

        Where ‘X’ can be any local drive, CD-Drive or Network drive

        Double click on the ‘SapGuiSetup.exe’
        The SAP GUI installation Dialog will be open.

2- )   Click ‘Next’ button on the initial screen of SAP Front End Installer
       Expand the SAP GUI for Windows 7.10 by click on „+‟ button.
       Select only ‘SAP GUI Suite’ Check Box and click ‘Next’.

3- )   Select the installation directory for the SAP GUI for windows, and click ‘Next’

Installation progress will be shown in the below screen; this process will take sometime.

4- )   below screen will appear after successful installation of SAP GUI, click ‘Finish’

                  QUALITY SERVER IP CONFIGURATION

1- )   The “SAP Logon” can be found on the Desktop under the icon




And from Start Menu.

2- )   below screen is the SAP Logon Window. Here you can configure your SAP front End to
       connect SAP servers. Select the “Systems” tab for configuration. There you will find the “New
       Item” Button.

3- )   Below Screen will be appearing after the selection of the “New Item” Button. Select the “User
       Specified System” and then Press “Next” Button.

4- )    Below Screen is the configuration form for a server.

“Description”            Specify the SAP system for example IDS, DEV. This description will be
                         shown on the Logon window under the “Systems” tab. (optional)
“Application Server”     Give the IP address or Hostname of the server which runs SAP ECC.
                         (Mandatory)
“System Number”          Specify the instance number. (Mandatory)
“System ID”              Specify the SAP ID (Mandatory)

After the configuration click the “Finish” Button.

                          REMOTE QUALITY SERVER
                            IP CONFIGURATION
