					Dua'a from the Holy Quran
(1) No matter how much wisdom you have, beseech Allah to guide you on the right path, whatever the field of
enquiry or activity you are taking after. Seek Allah‟s help to keep you very close to the ways and means of the
righteous and the pious servants of Allah (the Holy Prophet and his Ahl ul Bayt), the surest road to success, in this
and the next world, and to keep you away from the dishonest methods and hypocritical attitude of the astray devils
(the followers of the accursed shaytan), although they may appear profitable for a little while, but finally bring ruin
and destruction in the end.

Keep us (O Lord) on the right path, the path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your bounties, not (the path)
of those, inflicted with Your wrath, nor (of those) gone astray.

IHDINAS‟S‟IRAAT‟AL MUSTAQEEM S‟RAAT‟AL LAD‟EENA AN-A‟MTA A‟LAYHIM GHAYRIL MAGHZ‟‟OOBI
A‟LAYHIM WA LAZ‟‟ Z‟‟AALLEEN

(AL FAATIH‟AH: 6 and 7)

(2) Prophet Ibrahim and Prophet Isma-il while building up the house of Allah, the holy ka‟bah, prayed to Allah for
the successful completion of their project.Putting in the best efforts does not make your labour fruitful, because
there are many unknown and uncontrollable forces working in the universe that can bring disappointment if Allah,
who not only knows but has total control over all things and events, does not help you. So always invoke Allah by
reciting this verse in the traditions of His prophets, whenever you take up a job, which has not been prohibited.

Also recite this verse at the end of any good deed-after praying and wajib or sunnah salat, or when you have read
whole or part of the holy Quran, in a single sitting, or after attending a majlis (a religious gathering for mentioning
the merits of the Holy prophet and his Ahl ul Bayt). Recitation of this verse is also recommended for seeking
fulfillment of any legitimate desire.

O our Lord, accept (this service) from us. Verily You and You (alone) are the hearer, the knower.

RABBANAA TAQABBAL MINNA INNAKA ANTAS SAMEE-U‟L A‟LEEM

(AL BAQARAH: 127)

(3) This verse tells us not to turn to anyone but Allah to ask for fulfillment of all our wants and needs, and also
makes it clear that there is no other way to get satisfaction of our desires except to invoke Allah, who answers
whenever called by a supplicant. It brings you near Allah and keeps you on the right path. Allah answers to the cry
for help because the love of Allah for His servants is much greater than the love of a mother for her children. This
dua‟a may be recited before and other dua‟a as it helps to get nearness of Allah and to have complete faith in Him
alone; and because Allah says He will answer whenever He is called. This verse makes the recitation of dua‟as
necessary and obligatory for all Muslims. (Please see Imam‟s saying at the beginning).

To multiply livelihood and to obtain fulfillment of legitimate desires recite this verse 700 times after performing
wudu and before praying any wajib salat. It can be reduced to 70 times or 7 times according to your convenience.

And when my servants ask you about Me, then (say to them that) verily I am very near; I answer the prayers of the
supplicant when he beseeches Me. So they should hear My call, and believe in Me, so that They may be led
aright.
WA ID „AA SA-ALAKA I‟BAADEE A‟NNEE FA INNEE QAREEB UJEEBU DA‟-WATADDAA-I‟ID‟AA DA-A‟ANI FAL-
YASTAJEEBOO LEE WAL YOO-MINOO BEE LA-A‟LLAHUM YARSHUDOON

(AL BAQARAH: 186)

(4) According to this verse, short and temporary life in this world is as important as the eternal life in hereafter.

Although good in the permanent life of hereafter is the aim of all Muslims, but good in this world is also necessary
because man has been asked by his creator Lord to take part in all activities of this world without breaking the
rules and regulations, made by Him. So beseech Him for the good in both the worlds. This verse is generally
recited as qunoot in all prayers. It can be recited at the time of walking around (tawaf) the holy ka‟-bah.

Our Lord, give us good in this world, and good in the hereafter, and save us from the torment of fire.

RABBANAAA AATINAA FIDDUNYAA H‟ASANATAW WA FIL AAKHIRATI H‟ASANATAW WA QINAA A‟D‟AABAN
NAAR

(AL BAQARAH: 201)

(5) This verse teaches us to pray for grant of patience and perseverance in the face of trials and tribulations of this
world so that we remain faithful to the true religion of Allah, even if deprived of the comforts of life, as these two
aspects of our character makes us fight our enemies and the enemies of Allah.

If we read the life account of Holy prophet, Imam Ali and their infallible descendants, we find that their lives were
the true exposition of this verse. Recite this dua‟a in the times of trial, and to undo and put an end to the intrigues
of your enemies.

O OUR lord, pour patience down on us, and make our foothold firm, and help us against the disbelieving people.

RABANAAA AFRIGH A‟LAYNAA S‟ABRAW WA THABBIT AQDAMANAA WAN S‟URNAA A‟LAL QAWMIL
KAAFIREEN

(Al BAQARAH: 250)

(6) The right path (what to do and what not to do) has been clearly shown to man by Allah. These commandments
are very easy to follow, not beyond our capacity, as the Holy prophet once said: :”I have brought for you a very
easy religion.”

Now man is responsible for what he does. If we make mistakes, by breaking laws of Allah, we must admit our
mistakes and humbly and sincerely seek forgiveness of our merciful Lord, who not only forgives faults but helps us
to overcome our enemies and the enemies of Allah; and in this way, keeps away from us hardships and sorrows
that they (enemies) might bring if Allah does not stop them, in answer to our supplications.

Through this prayer we pray for the triumph of truth over falsehood and the suppression of satanic tendencies by
godliness, and ask Allah not to inflict on us situations under which we may not be able to avoid wrongdoing. After
acknowledging our limitations we undertake to work at our maximum capacity, hoping that through His mercy HE
will wipe clean all traces of errors and mistakes.

O our Lord, do not hold us responsible if we forget or make a mistake. O our Lord, do not lay on us a burden such
as You laid on those before us. O our Lord, do not impose upon us that which we have not the strength (to bear).
Pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord-master, so help us against the unbelieving
people.

RABBANAA LAA TOO-AKHID‟NAA IN-NASEENAA AW AKHT‟AANAA RABBANAA WALAA TAH‟MIL A‟LAYNAA

FANS‟URNAA A‟LAL QAWMIL KAAFIREEN

(Al BAQARAH: 286)

(7) It is better to be careful and recite this dua‟a in advance so that we may not change our heart and mind (follow
another religion) after accepting the true religion of Allah, Islam, the only right path. This prayer is a precaution to
avoid possible perversion of the mind and the heart after accepting divine guidance. The purpose of our lives in
this temporary and transient world is to make preparation for the eternal life of the hereafter. To strengthen you
faith recite this dua‟a in every wajib as well as Sunnah salat.

O our Lord, do not suffer our hearts to go astray after You have (rightly) guided us, grant us mercy from You, for
verily You and You (alone) are the ever bestower.

RABBANAA LAA TUZIGH QULOOBANAA BA‟-DA ID‟HADAYTANAA WA HAB LANAA MIL LADUNKA RAH‟MAH
INNAKA ANTAL WAHHAAB

(ALI IMRAN: 8)

(8) Sovereignty belongs to Allah. He is the sole and ultimate authority in the domains of creation and legislation.
Every thing is created by Him, so total submission to His will is Islam, which has been described in these verses in
the form of a prayer. The Holy Prophet and his Ahl ul Bayt have rightly advised the believers to recite this prayer ay
all occasions, so that the conviction in the omnipotence of the almighty Lord permeates their hearts and minds to
guide them in all their mental and physical activities. A complete resignation to Allah‟s will is possible only when
man believes that it is Allah who alone can do and undo things, conceivable and inconceivable, easy and difficult.
Then the grace of the Lord abounds, because in His hand is all good. There should be no complaint, nor grudge,
nor frustration. With total resignation to His will, man must pray and invoke His mercy to obtain fulfillment of his or
her legitimate wants and needs.

He (Allah) and He alone, and no one else, bestows upon whomsoever He chooses, the power to exercise
authority, in this world, or in the hereafter. To some he gives power in this world though many of them do not follow
his commandments. We must not get confused. It is not our lookout because knowledge of things, persons and
events is hopelessly very little. He knows why He has done so. Abdullah Ibni Abbas said that this verse may
contain the great name of Allah, ismi azam. If this dua‟a is recited with realization of its meaning, the realization of
His absolute sovereignty and His exclusive right and option, Allah will fulfill the legitimate desires of the reciter of
this dua‟a.

Not to be proud and arrogant after achieving success, in this world, recite this dua‟a regularly.

According to the Holy prophet whoso recited these verses daily after the Fajr salat, gets sufficient means of
livelihood. Also the reciter gets enough funds to repay loans. To discard nervousness in big public gatherings, or if
there is fear of a person or a group of persons recite this dua‟a.

O Allah, master of the kingdom. You give kingdom to whomsoever You like and take away the kingdom from
whosoever You like. You exalt whomsoever you like and abases whomsoever You like; in Your hand is the good;
verily You have the power over all things. You cause the night to pass into the day, and You cause the day to pass
into the night; You bring forth the living from the dead, and You bring forth the dead from the living, and You give
sustenance to whom You like, without measure.

ALLAAHUMMA MAALIKAL MULKI TOO-TIL MULKA MAN TASHAAA-U WA TANZIL-U‟L MULKA MIMMAN

(ALI IMRAN: 26 AND 27)

(9) When Zakariyya saw Maryam receiving her sustenance direct from Allah, he was so much convinced of His
extraordinary benevolence and its miraculous nature that he beseeched Him to give him a tayyab (virtuous,
blessed and good) son, he could not normally have since his wife was barren.Recitation of this dua‟a 7 times after
every wajib salat will make your children pious and obedient.

O lord, bestow on me a goodly offspring from You; verily, You are the hearer of prayer.

RABBI HAB LEE MIL LADUNKA D‟URRIYYATAN T‟AYYIBAH INNAKA SAMEE-U‟D DU-A‟AA

(ALI IMRAN: 38)

(10) The holy Quran says that all the prophets of Allah who had fought in the way of Allah, never giving in to the
enemies of Allah, used to recite this dua‟a.

By reason of their steadfastness and their asking for protection and seeking refuge with Allah, Allah granted them
victory against infidels, glorified their mission and enhanced their reputation. As human beings we may commit
mistakes and not follow the instructions given by Allah, so we must seek His forgiveness with firm determination
that we will not commit such sins any more. We must also recite this dua‟a to remain firm in our faith no matter
what the temptations are, so that we may defeat our enemies and the enemies of Allah.

This dua‟a can also be recited to remove hardships and difficulties put in your way by our enemies so as to induce
us to give up the right way of doing things as Allah has asked us to do.

O our Lord, forgive us our sins and our excuses in our affairs, and set our foothold firm, and help us against the
disbelieving people.

RABBANAGHFIR LANAA D‟UNOOBANAA WA ISRAAFANAA FEEE AMRINAA WA THABBIT AQDAAMANAA
WAN S‟URNAA A‟LAL QAWMIL KAAFIREEN

(ALI IMRAN: 147)

(11) The holy Quran says that those who remember Allah and try to understand the nature of His creation recite
this dua‟a, because in the creation of heavens and the earth and in the difference of night and day are signs of His
omnipotence for the men of understanding.

Recite this dua‟a in the qunoot of tahajjud (night prayer).

O our lord, You have not created (all) this in vain. Glory be to You. Save us then from the torment of fire.

RABBANAA MAA KHALAOTA HAAD‟AA BAAT‟TILAA SUBH‟AANAKA FAQINAA A‟D‟AABAN NAAR
(ALI IMRAN: 191)

(12) This is the continuation of dua‟a 11. The wise men hear the message of Allah, and, as they have already
understood the meaning of the nature of divine creation, readily accept the true faith, the belief in the one and only
Allah, seeking His forgiveness for the sins they have committed in the days of ignorance; and not forgetting that
Allah (alone0 can keep them on the right path till the last day of their lives in this world, invoke Him to make them
die as true believers.

Make a habit of reciting this dua‟a because there is nothing worth keeping with yourself except the true faith to the
last breath of your life, in order to obtain permanent bliss in the next world. This world is a place of test and trial for
you. Even after a whole life time of true faith if a person for a single insignificant moment, does not believe in the
one and only almighty Allah in the last breath of his life, he is forever condemned to the fire of hell.

O our Lord, we have indeed heard the voice of crier (messenger) calling (us) to faith: “Believe in your Lord.” So we
believed. Our Lord, forgive us then our sins, and remove from us our evil deeds, and make us die with the
virtuous.

RABBANAAA INNANAA SAMI‟-NAA MUNAADIYAY YUNAADEE LIL-EEMAANI AN AAMINOO BIRABBIKUM FA-
AAMANNA RABBANAA FAGHFIR LANAA D‟UNOOBANAA WA KAFFIR A‟NNAA SAYYII-AATINAA WA
TAWAFFANNA MA-A‟L ABRAAR(ALI IMRAN: 193)

(13) Through this dua‟a the faithful servants of Allah, who have accepted the true religion, revealed by Allah
through His messengers, invoke Allah to keep them safe from the same shame and disgrace, the evil-doers will
face on the day of judgment, because rewards and favours have been promised only for those who believe in Allah
and do good deeds in this world.

Every faithful should recite this dua‟a to receive favours of Allah on the day of judgment.

O our Lord, give us what You have promised us through Your messengers, and do not disgrace us on the day of
resurrection. Verily, You do not break your promise.

RABBANAA WA AATINAA MAA WA-A‟TTANNAA A‟LAA RUSULIKA WA LAA TUKHIZNAA YAWMAL QIYAAMAH
INNAKA LAA TUKHLIFUL MEE-A‟AD

(ALI IMRAN:194)

(14) This dua‟a should be recited to obtain protection of Allah when calamities surround you, having total faith in
His power, with firm determination that you will always thank your Lord for saving you from the calamities.

If He (our Lord) delivers from this, certainly we shall be of the thankful.

LA-IN ANJAANAA MIN HAAD‟IHEE LANAKOO-NANNA MINASH SHAAKIREEN

(AN A‟AM:63)

(15) Every true believer must seek Allah‟s help to avoid the company of unjust people who not only do not believe
in Allah but have gone astray by not following the rules and regulations made by Allah to direct their behaviour in
this world.

O our Lord, put us not together with the unjust people.
RABBANAA LAA TAJ-A‟LNAA MA-A‟L QAWMIZ‟Z‟AALIMEEN

(A‟-RAAF: 47)

(16) If hardship, poverty and discomfort come into your life, you as a faithful servant of Allah must recite this dua‟a
to have patience and self-control to remain firm on the right path and face misfortunes boldly, without ever showing
any weakness, or taking any action that has been prohibited, so that you may leave this world as a true muslim,
submitting to the will of Allah.

A group of master magicians, on the invitation of Pharaoh, came to show their superiority over Moosa because
Pharaoh wrongly thought that Moosa was also a magician. The magicians threw a few ropes on the floor and they
took the shape of snakes. Moosa put the staff, he was holding in his hand on the ground. The staff changed into a
python and swallowed up the snakes. Pharaoh got angry and threatened to kill them. When the magicians came to
know that Moosa was not a magician but a prophet of Allah, and what they saw was a miracle of Allah, they
laughed at Pharaoh and recited this dua‟a.

O our Lord, pour out on us patience, and make us die as those who have submitted (to You).

RABBANAA AFRIGH A‟LAYNAA S‟ABRAW WA TAWAFFANAA MUSLIMEEN

(A‟-RAAF: 126)

(17) A true faithful must always recite this dua‟a to seek mercy of the merciful Lord, particularly when he is in the
middle of unmanageable difficulties.

To receive the Tawrat Moosa climbed the mountain of Toor and observed fast for 30 days, as directed by Allah.
Moosa noticed that on account of fasting his mouth was stinking, so he thought it improper to pronounce the glory
of Allah with a stinking mouth, and brushed his teeth. It was considered as an act of disobedience and he was
required to observe fast for 10 more days. After 40 days, Moosa came back to his people with Tawrat, but he
found his people worshipping the false god of the magician, Saamiree. Seeing this Moosa became angry and
criticized his brother Haroon who was acting as lieutenant, in his 40 days absence. Haroon explained that he tried
his best to keep them on the right path and warned them against the tricks of magician but they paid no attention to
his advice, so his brother (Moosa) should not have included him in the group of unjust followers. Moosa on hearing
the explanation of Haroon recited this dua‟a.

It is highly recommended to read this dua‟a as qunoot in all prayers.

O Allah, forgive me and my brother and admit us to Your mercy, You are the most merciful of the merciful.

RABBIGHFIR LEE WA LI-AKHEE WA ADKHILNAA FEE RAH‟MATIKA WA ANTA ARH‟AMUR RAAH‟IMEEN

(A‟RAAF: 151)

(18) Recite this dua‟a again and again to take stock of your mistakes and faults as to avoid them in future, and to
seek Allah‟s protection and forgiveness with firm determination that you will live an honest and pious life to deserve
His mercy.

According to holy Quran, Moosa chose his people 70 men, who insisted upon seeing Allah with their own eyes, for
an appointed tyrst on the mountain. As soon as they reached there, a trembling came on them. All the 70 men
were destroyed. Then Moosa recited this dua‟a to beseech Allah to have mercy on him and the pious among his
followers.
(O Lord) You are our guardian, so forgive us and have mercy on us and You are the best of the forgivers.

ANTA WALIYYUNNA FAGHFIR LANAA WARH‟AMNAA WA ANTA KHAYRUL GHAAFIREEN

(A‟-RAAF: 155)

(19) This dua‟a was also recited by Moosa immediately after the above noted dua‟a to invoke Allah to give him and
his followers all that which is good in this world and the next world, because it is Allah (alone) who can give
whatever His obedient servants ask for. Allah‟s mercy enfolds all those wrong-doers who turn repentant unto Him
as said in verse 153 of al Araf. Islam assures the sinners that the doors of Allah‟s mercy remain open for those
who sincerely turn repentant to Allah.

(O Lord) ordain for us good in this world and in the hereafter. Verily we turn to You alone.

WAKTUB LANAA FEE HAAD‟IHID DUNYAA H‟ASANATAW WA FIL AAKHIRATI INNAA HUDNAAA ILAYK

(A‟RAAF: 156)

(20) Whenever Allah revealed the verses of the holy Quran to His last prophet the hypocritic men used to ask each
other how could these verses of Allah be of any use to them?

In this verse Allah says that His messenger was very kind to his followers and was anxious not to overburden
them, he was full of pity and mercy. When they turned away, Allah asked the Holy Prophet to recite this verse.

This dua‟a was recited by the Holy Prophet. We, his followers, must also recite it to put our trust in Allah (alone)
and to ask for the fulfillment of all our desires. If recited 66 times daily, it brings honour and respect.

Suffices me Allah. There is no god save Him. On Him do I rely, and He is the Lord of the great „ARSH‟ (the glorious
throne of the mighty power.)

H‟ASBIYALLAAH LAAA ILAAHA ILLAA-HUW A‟LAYHI TAWAKKALTU WA HUWA RABBUL A‟RSHIL A‟Z‟EEM

(TAWBAH: 129)

(21) When Moosa observed that none from among his people, save a few, trusted him, because they were in fear
of Pharaoh and his chiefs, he advised them to put trust in Allah if they had indeed surrendered unto Him, then they
recited this dua‟a.

We must also recite this dua‟a daily to remain firm in our faith and to seek protection of Allah from the harm of our
enemies.

O our Lord, make us not a trial for the unjust people. And deliver us by Your mercy from the disbelieving people.

RABBANNA LAA TAJ-A‟LNAA FITNATAL LIL-WAQMIZ‟ Z‟AALIMEEN WA NAJJINAA BIRAH‟MATIKA MINAL
QAWMIL KAAFIREEN

(YUNUS: 85 and 86)

(22) When Nooh came to know that Allah was going to destroy all that had been created, by drowning the whole
world, except those who came on the ark built by him, he advised one of his dons to do the same. His son refused
and told his father that he would climb a high mountain, but waves like mountains came and he was drowned.
Nooh cried unto his Lord and said his son was his household and that surely the word of Allah came true because
He is most just in all judges.

This dua‟a is to be recited along-with any other prayer (dua‟a) which is recited to seek fulfillment of legitimate
desires.

(My) Lord, verily my son is of my family; and verily Your promise is true and You are the most just of all judges.

RABBI INNABNEE MIN AHLEE A INNA WA‟-DAKAL H‟AQQU WA ANTA AH‟KAMUL H‟AAKIMEEN

(HOOD: 45)

If any of the Quranic verses written in this book is not recited as qunoot in any salat, but prayed as a du-a‟a then
recite ;in the beginning ALLAAHUMMA S‟ALLI A‟ALAA MUH‟AMMADIN WA AALI MUH‟AMMAD Before you say
and the text of the verse (du-a‟a) and in the end again say ALLAAHUMMA S‟ALLI A‟ALAA MUH‟AMMADIN WA
AALI MUH‟AMMAD

IMAM ALI IBN ABI TALIB SAYS:Put faith in Allah. Seek His protection. Direct your prayers, requests, solicitations
and supplications to Him and Him alone. To give as well as to withhold lies in His power.Ask as much of His
favours as you can.

Know that Allah owns the treasures of the heavens and the earth. Not only He has given permission to ask for His
mercy and favours, but also has promised to listen to your prayers. He has not appointed guards to prevent your
prayers reaching Him. Invoke His help in difficulties and distress. Implore Him to grant you long life and sound
health. Pray to Him for prosperity.

Think over it that by simply granting you the privilege of praying for His favours and mercy, He has handed over
the keys of His treasures to you.Whenever you are in need, pray, and He gives His favours and blessings.

Sometimes you find requests are not immediately granted. Do not be disappointed. Fulfillment of desires rest in the
true purpose or intention of the prayer. More often fulfillment is delayed because merciful Lord wants to bestow
upon you suitable rewards. In the meantime bear patiently hardships, believing sincerely in His help. You will get
better favours, because, unknowingly you may ask for things which are really harmful to you. Many of your
requests, if granted, may bring eternal damnation. So at times, withholding fulfillment is a blessing in disguise.

SAY:S‟ALLALLAAHU A‟LAYHI WA AALIHEE WA SALLAM Whenever you read or say the name of any epithet or
appellation of the Holy Prophet.

SAY:A‟LAYHIS SALAAM Whenever you read or say the name or any epithet or appellation of any Imam of Ahl ul
Bayt, any prophet or messenger of Allah, and any distinguished member of the family of the Holy Prophet.

SAY:SALAWAATULLAAHI A‟LAYHAA Whenever you read or say the name of Fatimah Zahra, Khadija Kubra,
Zaynab Binti Ali, Maryam or Asiya.

                         Doa while using khake shifa

According to another tradition a person complained to the Imam that he was
always assailed by pains and diseases and whatever medicine he used to take
did not benefit him. The Imam advised him to take khake-Shifa and recite the
following Doa before he holds it.

Oh Allah I bind Thee by this clay and of that angel who had picked up this clay
and of the Prophet through whom this clay was sent and of that vicegerent who
lies buried under this clay and ask Thee to shower Thy blessing on Mohammed
(s.a.w.a.) and Ahle Bait and make this clay a cure fore all my diseases and a
                            guardian against all fears.

All the fears will disappear and he will be completely cured from all pains.

                                    Dua.2

                           While eating khake shifa

According to another tradition if one has to eat Khake-Shifa one should first
Kiss it then hold it to one?yes and should not take more than a grain of gram a
very very small quantity much less than a pinch. For eating excess of khake-
Shifa is like eating the meat and blood of the holy descendants (Ahlul Bait) of
the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) and when one picks it up from the resting place of
Imam Hussain (a.s.) one should recite the following Dua:-

 Transliteration: ALLA-HOOMMA INNI AS'ALOKA BE-HAQQIL MAL-
 AKIL-LAZI QABZAHA WA ASA'LOKA BE-HAQQIN-NA-BI-YIL-LAZI
 KHAZANAHA WA AS'ALOKA BE-HAQQIL-VASI-YIL-LAZI HALLA

                          IN.

Oh Allah I bind Thee by that angel who had lifted a handful clay; by the
prophet who had preserved it in the bottle, by the vicegerent who lies buried
under it and pray Thee to shower Thy blessing on Mohammed and Aale
Mohammed and make this pure clay a cure for all diseases, a shield against all
fears, and a safeguard against all curses.

After that the Khake shifa should be tied in a cloth and over it should be recited
                              surre Inna Anzalana.

                           While building new house

According to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) a person who builds a new house
should sacrifice a healthy sheep and distribute its meat among the poor and
                           needy and offer this Doa:-

  Transliteration: ALLA-HOOMMAR-HAM ANNI MARADATAL JINNE
VAL-INSE VASHSYATEENA WA BARIK LEE FEE BENAA'EE

Oh Allah keeps me away from rebellious jins and men and the devils and

bless me in this house of mine.

If one recites this prayer then God will keep away the rebel devils, Jins and
humans from him and safeguard him from their mischief and make his house
                                  lucky for him.

While leaving house for special work/object/purposes

A reliable tradition from Hazrat Ali (a.s.) states that when a person enters his
house he should offer salutation and if his house is not present he should say:

Transliteration: ASSALAMO ' ALAINA MINA RABBENA

May there be peace on us from our God.
When he is inside the house he should recite sure Qul Huvallaho Ahad as it
keeps away poverty and anxiety. When one has to go out for some special work
then one should go on Thursday morning and recite those verses from Aale
Imran which are given below, also recite Ayatal Kursi, Inna Anzalna and surae
                         Alhmad. Those verses are:-

Transliteration: INNA FEE KALQIS-SAMAVATE VAL-ARZE VAKH-

                   TOKHLEFOOL-MIYAD

Verily, in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alteration of the
night and the day, there are signs for men who possess wisdom.

Those who remember Allah standing and sitting and reclining on their sides
and think (Seriously) in the creation of the heaven and the earth saying ?Our
Lord! Thou hast not created (all) this in vain! Glory be to Thee! Save us then
from the torment of the (Hell) fire?

O?r lord! whomsoever Thou causeth to enter the (hell) fire, surely Thou hast
put him to disgrace; there is not, for the unjust, any of the helpers.

O?r Lord! We have indeed heard the voice of a Crier (Messenger), calling (us)
unto faith, saying, "Believe ye in your Lord!" therefore "Forgive us then our
sins and remove away from us our evil deeds and cause us to die with the
                                virtuous ones".
O?r Lord! and give us what Thou didst promise us through Thy Prophets, and
disgrace us not on the Day of Resurrection; Verily, Thou breakest not Thy
                       Promise". (Quran 3: 190-194).

While salvation of worldly and spiritual tasks at the time of leaving house

It is stated from Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) that a person who will recite the
following prayer when leaving the house, God will accomplish all his worldly
                        and spiritual tasks of salvation:

Transliteration: BISMILLAHE HASBIYAL-LAHO TAVAK-KALTO ALAL-
LAHE, ALLA-HOOMMA AS-ALOKA KHAIRA OMOORI KOOLLEHA
WA A'OOZO BEKA MIN KHIZ-YID DOONYA WA AZABIL-AKHERAH

I begin with the name of Allah, Allah is enough for me and him only I rely. Oh
Allah I pray Thee for the welfare of all my affairs and seek Thy shelter from
the evils in this world and the torments of the Day of Judgement.

At the Time of wearing jewels

According to Imam Ja?-e-Sadiq (a.s.) the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) used to wear
the ring on the first finger and has prohibited wearing of ring on the middle
                                      finger.

According to Imam Ja?-e-Sadiq (a.s.) a ring should be worn at the very end of
the finger where it joins with palm. According to Fiqhur-Riza one should recite
the following prayer while wearing the ring:

  Transliteration: ALLA-HOOMMA SAVIMNI BESIMAA'IL -IMANE,
VAKHTIMLI BEKHAIRIN, WAJ'AL AA QEBATI ILA KHAIRIN INNAKA
                ANTAL AZIZOOL HAKEEMOOL KARIM

Oh Allah, let the signs of faith be the cause of my recognition! Let my end be
worthwhile and let there be good for me even in the world to come. It is well-
Known that Thou art All- Mighty, All-Wise and All-Generous!

It is sunnat to have a silver ring. Men are prohibited from wearing gold ring.
Wearing iron, steel or brass ring is makrooh for both men and women.
Therefore, according to Imam Ja?-e-Sadiq (a.s.), the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.)
used to wear a silver ring.

According to another tradition the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) asked men not to
wear an iron ring while praying and strictly prohibited wearing of brass ring.

                         Whenever one sits in gathering

According to Imam Jafar?adiq (a.s.) God has asked the son of Adam to
remember Him in the gathering, which is a lot better than his gathering.

In another tradition the Imam has stated the God has said that a person who
remembered by Him in the gathering of Angels.

According to Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) a person who wants to give a full
account and be rewarded on the Day of Judgement, should recite the following
ayats (verses) wherever he sits in a gathering.

Transliteration: SOBHANA RABBEKA RABBIL-IZZATE AMMA YASE-
FOON, WA SALAMOON ALAL-MORSALEEN VAL-HAMDO LILLAHE
                        RABBIL ALAMEEN

Hallowed is thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, far above from that which they
ascribe (unto Him). And peace be upon the prophets. And all praise is

                          God?the Lord of the worlds.

While on hill or on great height

In another tradition he has stated that if a person on the top of great heights
                                      recites:

       Transliteration: LA ILAHA-ILLAL-LAHO VALLAHO AKBER

There is no Creator except Allah and He is Almighty.

Then all the things till the very low end of the earth will recite the same Kalma.

For avoiding bad omens for travellers
According to Imam Moosa Kazim (a.s.) seven things are unlucky for a
traveller. (i) the cawing of the crow on his right hand, (ii) the dog with his tail
straight up. (iii) the fox sitting with his face towards the tail, howling at the
sight of the traveller. (iv) the deer which cuts the travellers way from the right
side and goes off towards his left, (v) the screeching of an owl. (vi) the arrival
of an old woman with white hair before the traveller, and (vii) the coming in
front of a donkey with shorn of ears; when one of these things comes before the
traveller and he is besets with doubts and fear on account of them he should
                                         recite.

Transliteration: AE TASAMTO BEKA YA RABBE MIN SHARRE MA
AJEDO FEE NAFSI FA SEMONI MIN ZALEKA

Oh my Creator! I seek Thy shelter from the mischief of the danger that is
linking in my heart, protect me from it.

                             Before starting journey

According to a tradition related to Imam Moosa Ibne Ja? (a.s.) that a person
who wishes to go on a journey should stand in the door of his house facing
towards the destination of journey and recite Alhamd and recite the following:-

Transliteration: ALLA-HOOMMAH-FAZNI VAHFAZ MA MA'EYA WA
SALLIMNI WA SALLIM MA MA-'EYA WA BALLIGH MA MA-'EYA BE-
                   BALAGHEKAL-HASANIL-JAMEEL

Oh Allah keep me and all the things with me safe and sound and let them reach
                            the destination safely.

The person who proceeds on a journey in the above manner the Almighty God
will be looking after hie welfare and of those people and things who are will
him, and he will reach safely his destination.

For talisman to be keep by traveller
Besides other talisman, which ought to be kept while going on a travel, there is
a talisman which is stated to be in the scabbard of the Holy Prophet
                    (s.a.w.a.)?word. This is that talisman.

whose personality exists from times eternal and for whom there is no change or
deterioration (fall). I beg of Thee who is the Almighty God, enough for
everything and who holds everything under His sway: Oh Allah on behalf of
Thy Great name. Uniqueness and needlessness, from whom no one is born and
who is born of no one and who does not have a single partner, look after me
and protect me from the mischief of men, my enemies and their swords and put
a stop to all types of torture. When God has surrounded them from all sides
then where links the danger. Oh Allah do protect me from the danger. Oh Allah
do protect me from the mischief of the person who intends harming me, cover
me with a veil as is Thy sacred veil which does not let the mischief of band and
mad people come near Thee or be hurt by the swords, the iron and all those
which ordinarily people are afraid of and keep away from, and all the
difficulties and the mischief of all those things which are well known to Thee
and on whom Thou hast complete authority. No doubt Thy power encompasses
everything. Shower Thy blessing on Thy prophet and his dear and near ones
and a greeting, which they have the right of.

                           For a traveller?amily
According to the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) the best care-taker of your family,
who will look after them while your are travelling is, that at the time of

Transliteration: ALLA-HOOMMA INNI ASTAV-DE'OKA NAFSI WA AHIL
WA MALI WA ZOORRIYATI WA DOONYAYA WA AKHERATI WA
                   AMANATI WA KHATEMATA AMALI

Oh Allah! I leave unto Thy care my life, my wife and children, my
merchandise, my generation, my world here and hereafter, deposits under my
custody and place my end of life in Thy hands.

                          When anyone loses way
According to Hazrat Ali (a.s.) a person who loses one?ay should give the
                                following call:-

                     Transliteration:
                  YA SALEHO AGHISNI
YA SALEHO YA ABA SALEHO ARSHIDOONA ILAT-TAREEQE RAHE-
                  MOKOOMOOL-LAHO

Oh Saleh! Render help unto me! for among the Momin jins there are those who
are called Saleh who make the Almighty happy by living in the deserts and on
hearing anyone?all of distress they will reply and show the way.

Reliable traditions from Imam Muhammad Baqir (a.s.) state when one loses the
way one should give the following call:

Oh Saleh and Abu Saleh may God show His mercy on you, show us the
                               right way.

At the time of visiting a dangerous place

"O? Lord! cause me to enter a goodly entrance and cause me to go out (of) a
goodly exit, and grant me from unto Thee an authority to assist (me)"

and when that thing or person comes in front of him, he should recite the
                                Ayatul Kursi.

At the time of arrival in new place
Another tradition states that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) asked Hazrat Ali (a.s.)
to recite the following Dua?hen alighting on a destination that he may avail of
all the benefits of the place and remain safe from its mischief.

                               care-taker.

                            For safety from robbers
According to Imam Moosa Kazim (a.s.) a person who is afraid of robbers and
wild animals in a journey should write the following Dua?n the back of the
horse and by the order of the Almighty God he will be safe from their mischief.

Transliteration: LA TAKHAFO DARAKAN VALA TAKHSHA

Neither you are afraid of being caught nor scared of the result.

The reporter of this tradition states that once he was going with a group to Hajj.
A band of wild Arab surrounded the group and attacked them fiercely but he

God. who had made Muhammad (s.a.w.a.) His Prophet and Hazrat Ali (a.s.)
His Imam he reiterated that the Almighty God had made the robbers blind to

The reporter of his tradition states that whenever there was a storm at sea he
used to recite the following prayers shown by Imam Ja?-e-Sadiq (a.s.): it
seemed that there was no storm at all, as the raging sea would suddenly and
                               Certainly go calm.

He is Allah who sent down the Book (Quran) and He guardeth the virtuous one.
They have esteemed not Allah, as is His due: while the whole earth shall be in

hand: Hallowed is He, and Exalted is He, high above what they associate (with
                                   Him).

                          For safety from drowning
Another tradition from Imam Ja?-e-Sadiq (a.s.) asked one to recite the
following prayer if one is afraid of drowning:-

                            Dua after every prayer
Hazrat Imam Mohammed Baqir (a.s.) says, "Whoever recites the following

An excellent invocation Doa ?er morning prayer
It is recorded in Zain-ul Muttaqeen that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said. "He
who recites the following Dua?fter morning prayer, will get the heavenly
reward of performing a thousand Haj (pilgrimage to Mecca), of thousand Shabe
Barrat (15th Night of the month of Shaban) of performing funeral prayers on a
                                thousand martyrs."

The Angel Gibraeel descended and said. "O?hammed (s.a.w.a.) I have brought
a good news for you and such news I have brought for no other prophet. It is,
whoever of your Ummat recites the following Dua?nce after Morning prayer,
or keeps it on his person. Allah the Al-Mighty declares on oath that He will
grant the reciter the following benefits":-

     2. Security from the questioning of Munkar and Nakeer in the grave.
           3. Relief from the darkness and narrowness of the grave.
                   4. Closing down on Him the doors of Hell.
                   5. Grant Him His protection from disease.

unimaginable extent. Once he humbly asked Allah if there was any other of His
creatures who might be his equal in worshipping Him.
Allah revealed to him that there was a person on the earth whose adoration and
glorification of Allah excelled him. The angle with the permission descended

                            Dua?or reward of Paradise
Abu Tamama (a.r.) relates that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said. "Whoever
recites the last portion of Suratul Hashr (59:22:23 & 24) at night and during the
day and dies the same day in that case Allah makes the paradise for him in
                                     cumbent."
Ma? Bin Yasar (a.r.) relates that the Prophet (s.a.w.a.) said. "Whoever recites
thrice?ooze Billahe Minash Shaita-nir Rajeem, and then recites the last three
Verses (59:22:23 & 24) of Suratul Hashir. Allah appoints seventy thousand
angels to protect him from all troubles, and sends blessing upon him, and in
case he dies he attains the status of a Martyr. If he recites the above in the

Verily your Lord is Allah who created the heavens and the earth in six days,
then established Himself upon the Arsh (throne). He throweth the veil of night
over the day, which pursueth it incessantly, and the sun and the moon and the
stars, made (absolutely) subservient to his command; Be it known! (that) His is

Call ye on your Lord, humbly and secretly; verily loveth not Allah the

O?lah I have been obedient to Thee in the matter most beloved to Thee and it is
Thy Oneness and I have not been disobedient to Thee in the thing most hated
by Thee and that is infidelity. So forgive me whatever (I may have done) in
between these two. O?ou! To whom I run (for protection). Afford me safety
against that from which I have fled to Thee. O?lah! Forgive me the great
quantity of my sins and accept the small quantity of my obedience to Thee. O?
Provision against all provisions, O? Hope and object of confidence, O? shelter
and support, O?e, O?ngular, O?hou about Whom Quran says), Say:" He God, is
one (Alone), God, the needless, He begetteth not, nor is He begotten. And there
is none like unto Him". I beseech Thee by the right of those whom Thou hast
chosen from among Thy creatures and did not make any one like them in Thy
creation that Thou send blessings on Mohammed and his descendants and deal
with me as behooves Thee. O?lah! I beseech Thee through the great Oneness,
the effulgent qualities of Mohammed and the sublime quality of Ali through all
that with which Thou has rendered please before Thy creatures and through the
name which Thou has concealed from Thy creatures so that it has not come out
from Thee save towards Thee, that Thou send blessings on Mohammed and his
descendants and grant me relief and outlet in my affairs, and allow me
livelihood from where I expect and from where I don?xpect. Verily Thou givest
livelihood to anyone Thou pleasest, without accounting.

                               For all purposes

There is a tradition in Hadeese Kafe that Mohammed bin Muslim said, "Once I
asked one of the Imams, to teach me some Doa for the fulfilment of desires."
And Imam (a.s.) said, "Why are you unaware of "Doa-e-Ilhah." Why don?ou
recite it for your purpose" I asked, "which is it?" And Imam (a.s.) recited the
                                  following Doa:

                          will be surely fulfilled.
For saving from sqeeze of grave

Ameerul Momineen (a.s) says that the recitation of Soora Nisa (Ch. IV) every
Friday will save the reciter from the sueeze of the grave. (Tafseer Boorhan)

                              Soora Nisa (Ch. IV)

To be recited a the time of death

It is sated from the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) that he visited one of his Ansars at
the time when he was in the throws of death and asked him what was he
undergoing. The Ansar stated that he was pleading God for kindness and was
afraid of his sins. Then the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) stated that if a person is
undergoing these feelings at the time of death, then it is definite that god will
reward his hopes and save him from those things which he is afraid of.
In another traditions it is stated that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.a.) visited a dying
person and asked him to recite the following:-

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.
Oh Allah! Pardon my sins which are many and accept my prayers which are
                                very little.

To be recited at the time of death

A reliable tradition from Imam Mohammed Baqir (a.s.) states that if you see
anyone nearing death then one should make him recite this Kalemate Farj.

and Allwise Allah there is no Lord; Pure is that Allah who is the Creator of the
seven heavens and seven earths and all that is in them and between them; He is
the Lord of all these things and the Arsh and all praise is due to that God who is
the Lord of all the creation.

To be recited by 40 momins at death body of a momin

A reliable tradition from Imam Ja?-e-Sadiq (a.s.) states that if on the death of
Momin forty other Momin?hould assemble and recite.

Then God will answer. "I have accepted your evidence and have forgiven all
those sins of his which you were not aware of and of which I had knowledge.

                         While entering the grave yard

Imam Husain (a.s.) says who ever enters a graveyard says as following. Allah

advised the parents of an insane boy to recite the following du-a'a to remove
the effects of witchcraft. They did as advised and their son was fully cured.

                    Translation of more recommended Dua'a
               ------------------------------------------------------------

[In the name of Allah and with Allah: in the name of Allah-that which Allah
wills (takes place); in the name of Allah- there is no power nor strength save
                                  with Allah.
Musa said : What you have brought is sorcery; verily Allah will soon make it
vain: verily Allah does not put in order the work of the mischief-makers.
Thus the truth was established, and what they were doing was made vain.
So there and then (Firawn and his enchanters) were defeated and made to look
                                small, humiliated]

               ------------------------------------------------------------

[I take refuge (to seek protection from the evil threatening me) with the might
of Allah, the power of Allah, the strength of Allah, the greatness of Allah, the
demonstration of Allah, the sovereignty of Allah, the assistance of Allah, the
security of Allah, the amnesty of Allah, the shield of Allah, the kindness of
Allah, the pride of Allah, the attention of Allah, the beauty of Allah, the
grandeur of Allah, the perfection of Allah-there is no god save Allah and
Muhammad is the messenger of Allah]

               ------------------------------------------------------------

[There is no god save He. I rely on Him. He is the Lord of the great a'rsh. What
He wills takes place; and what He does not will does not take place. I bear
witness that, verily, Allah, has power over all things: and, verily, Allah
encompasses every thing in (His) knowledge, O my Allah, I seek refuge with
You from the evil inside me and from the evil of every creature whom You
seizes with its forelock. Verily my lord is on the right path]

               ------------------------------------------------------------

[Verily your Lord is Allah who created the heavens and the earth in six days,
then established Himself on the throne. He draws the night as a veil over the
day, which pursues it incessantly; and made the sun and the moon and the stars
subservient to His command. Verily, His is the creation and the command.
Blessed be Allah, the Lord of the worlds.
Call on your Lord humbly and in secret. Verily Allah does not love the
                                 transgressors.
And do not make mischief in the earth after it has been reformed; and call on
Him fearing (His wrath) and longing (his mercy). Verily the mercy of Allah is
near to those who do good]

                ------------------------------------------------------------
[(Allah) said : "We will strengthen your arm with your brother and we will give
you such authority that they will not be able to touch and of you. With our
signs, both of you and your followers shall certainly triumph"]

                ------------------------------------------------------------
[O my Allah - the Lord of Musa, when He particularly selected to honour him
with His spoken words. He routed those who teased Musa with their (tricks of)
magic, with the help of his rod (granted to Musa by Allah) . He transformed
(the rod) into a serpent. And again brought it back to its original state, after it
destroyed the work of the magicians and rendered ineffective the deceit of the
mischief makers - whosoever tries to harm me with magic or affliction,
intentionally or unintentionally, whether I know about it or not, whether it
frightens me or not, cut off his (evil) designs with the help of divine medium,
so that it does not reach me and never carried out to hurt me or terrorize me.
Verily, I ward off, with the help of your greatness, the threats of my enemies.
So protect me with the best protection and make it thoroughly effective. O
                                       liberal giver]

    (i) To render null and void the intensity and evil effects of any kind of
witchcraft and evil eye recite 121 times the last part of verse 87 of al Anbiya,
after Fajr salat for 40 days.

Recite salawat 15 times then say : LAA ILAAHA ILLAAA ANTA
         SUBH'AANAKA INNEE KUNTU MINAZ'Z AALIMEEN
(ii) To over come any apparently impossible to manage difficulty recite the
above noted verse as directed in (i) and also 730 times after praying a 2 rak-at
salat after midnight with the following acts of self-discipline.

                          (a) Do not eat animal meat
(b) Eat any halaal (lawful) food purchased by halaal (lawfully earned) money
                              ve alms to the poor.

[In the name of Allah I give you in protection (of Allah) from every thing that
pains you, from every thing and the (evil) eye, self-indulgence and the jealous.
In the name of Allah I give you in protection (of Allah) Allah is the greatest,
and His might is the mightiest]

               ------------------------------------------------------------

[In the name of Allah, with Allah, from Allah, unto Allah, and in the way of
Allah; O Allah, I surrender myself to You, I direct myself towards You, I
entrust my affairs to You, so keep me safe, with the preservation of belief, from
in front of me, from behind me, from my right side, from my left side, from
above me, from below me, and repel (evil) from me with Your strength and
power, because, verily, there is no strength and no power save with Allah, the
                                 high, the great]

[Allah is sufficient and satisfying for me. Allah hears (the call of) whosoever
calls (Him). There is no one (and nothing) as the ultimate save Allah]

 (i) [Then they went their way till they embarked in a boat in which he made a
hole (and Musa) said; you have made a hole in it to down its passengers. Verily
you have done a strange thing]

(ii) [Have not those who disbelieve seen that the heavens and the earth were
closed up, and that We clove them as under? Out of water we made all things
alive. Will they not then believe.]

(iii) [Muhammad is the messenger of Allah: and those who are with him are
severe against infidels but compassionate among themselves. You see them
bowing and prostrating, seeking His grace and pleasure. Their mark is on their
faces (foreheads) from the effect of prostrations. Their description in the
Tawrat, and their description in the Injil, is like a seed that sends out a stalk,
then strengthens it, and it becomes stout and rises firm on its stem, delighting
the sowers, in order to fill the disbelievers with rage. Allah has promised those
who believe and do good deeds forgiveness and a great recompense.]

                                          OR

 (2) (i) [We built the heavens with might, and verily We are the Lord of power
                                  and expanse]

(ii) [We spread the earth (like a carpet) - an excellent spreader (We are)]

              ------------------------------------------------------------

(i) [In the name of Allah. I give you in the custody of your Lord; I give you in
the protection of He (who will keep you safe) from the evil of whosoever
envies you, be he standing or sitting, from (the evil of) every creature lying in
wait at the turn of any road, so that he may neither harm you in wakefulness,
nor in sleep, nor while walking nor at the destination, as long as nights and
days follow each other. The hand of Allah may restrain their hands and the
protection of Allah may over power their hostility.]

(ii) [O my Allah, I beseech You in the name of the rights of Muhammad and
the children of Muhammad to send blessings on Muhammad and on the
children of Muhammad and free me (from whatever affliction that has
                              surrounded me)]
[O my God; when you gave me any bounty, I did not thank you as I should
have; whenever You tested me with a trial I did not manage it with the patience
                               I should have.
O He who did not deprive me of (favour) inspite of my too little thanks. O He
who did not withhold assistance inspite of my very deficient self control. O He
who saw my wrongdoings yet did not disgrace me: O He who saw my
shortcomings yet did not punish me; send blessings on Muhammad and on the
children of Muhammad, forgive my sins, cure my diseases; verily, You have
                            power over all things.]

[O Ever living, O self-subsisting, I beseech (You) in the name of Your mercy to
help me. So help me and do not leave me to myself even for the flash of an
eye(without you being with me), and look after properly all my affairs.]
[I put myself, my children, my family, my property under (Allah's protection )
in the name of Allah's perfected words, from all devils, poisonous animals, and
                              from every evil eye.]

                                   Khak E Shifa
                               (The Earth of Karbala)

There are several ahadith (traditions) in Tufatuz Za-ir, Safinatun Najat and
Mafatihun Najat that the earth of Karbala (from the precinct of the resting place
of Imam Husayn), known as khak shifa, cures every ailment save the deadly
disease (by which death has been decreed).

lmam Jafar bin Muhammad as Sadiq said:

At the time of eating khak shifa [for picking and holding it see (ii) below] for
                             curing a disease say:

In the name of Allah, for Allah, O Allah, the Lord of this sacred, helpful earth,
the Lord of the light which is in it, the Lord of the body which is resting in it,
the Lord of the guardian angels, let it cure my disease (mention the name of the
disease, then kiss the earth and eat it with some water and continue), O Allah
let this pure earth be a source of abundant means of livelihood, useful
knowledge and a remedy for all (my) pains and ailments

(mention the name of the disease, then kiss the earth and eat it with some water
                                    and continue)

ALLAAHUMMAJ-A'LHU RIZQAN WAASI -A'N WA I 'LMAN NAAFI--

It is also mentioned in some books that the lmam had said that the earth should
not be more than a seed of grain.
lmam Jafar bin Muhammad al Sadiq said:

                       Before picking khak shifa recite:

In the name of Allah, the beneficent, the merciful, O Allah I beseech You in the
name of this earth, in the name of the angel who has gathered it, in the name of
the prophet who made it free from anything impure, in the name of (his)
vicegerent who stayed here, send blessings on Muhammad and on his family,
and let this earth cure and heal all my ailments and keep me safe from all fears.

                             Then lmam also said:

O Allah, the Lord of this sacred, blessed earth and the angel who descended on
