North East Truck & Van (NETV), the local Iveco distributor in Billingham,
Teesside, is launching Iveco’s eagerly awaited new Daily light commercial vehicle
range today (October 16), benefiting from a host of new features including an all-

  further improve the driving experience.

For the driver, the new Daily offers a restyled cab with a slick dash-mounted
gearlever, together with newly profiled more supportive seats, and additional
interior storage space. Daily can also be specified with a load area lighting
system and parking sensors to aid reversing, together with the most up-to-date
  Bluetooth mobile phone technology.

The complete Daily range now extends to over 2,500 possible configurations with
models available between 3.2 and 6.5 tonnes, ensuring there is a suitable van or
chassis cab for the needs of every light commercial vehicle operator. Available
from any of NETV’s dealerships in Billingham, Blaydon, Carlisle, Hull,

“The Daily has long been our best selling product and we expect the new model
to prove popular with customers ranging from large national fleets to independent
local tradesman,” he adds.

One of the most notable changes with new Daily is a revised line-up of engines,
all of which are Euro 4 compliant. This sees the choice between 2.3 and 3.0 litre
units offering increased power and torque output, with the top-of-the-range 3.0
litre HPT engine delivering an impressive 176 hp with 400 Nm of torque between
1,250 and 3,000 rev/min, giving it best in class performance.

The new Daily also features a revised cab, styled by the world-famous Italian
automotive design house Giugiaro. Amongst the most significant changes are
improved driver ergonomics and ease of movement across the cabin, thanks to
the dash-mounted gearshift. New seats make Daily even more comfortable and
provide greater support, whilst the interior is spacious and practical to manage
thanks to the increased amount of storage available.

Additional safety features have also been built into the new model, with new
larger ventilated brake disks helping to bring a typical 3.5-tonne S class van from
60 to 0 mph in just 42 metres. All new Dailys are equipped with ABS / EBD and,
in addition to a driver’s airbag, which is standard for people carrier MPV models
and higher power vans, vehicles can also now be fitted with passenger-side and
window airbags.

Vehicles are available to test drive at any of NETV’s dealerships, spanning the
North and North East of England.
