THE ART OF SONG WRITING Five years on and it just gets better with even more world-class artists willing to come to Belfast to perform in small
intimate venues like The Kings Head and Madisons Hotel. More than 100 local and international songwriters take to the

stage in 30 concerts to celebrate the art of song writing and the Sister Cities link between Belfast and Nashville. This
year’s Song Writing Convention features several Grammy winning hit writers and leading music industry professionals
from around the world.

are producing great songs. We hope you’ll use the internet links provided to listen to them and come along to hear them

Along with her husband Ian, Katherine initiated the Sister Cities link between Belfast and Nashville. From their home
in Nashville Tennessee, they encouraged tourism, cultural and economic ties between the two cities. Sadly Katherine

passed away in February 2008 and is missed by all who knew her. She was a special person and this annual award is
