Ingredients



400g minced beef 1 red onion 1 small egg blackpepper flour, for dusting

Equipment

Mixing bowl, chopping board, knife, plate, fish slice.

Method

1. Chop onion finely. 2. Mix the minced beef with the onion, egg and black pepper.

3. Divide mixture into 8 balls. Dust hands in flour and flatten each ball into a burger shape.

4. Cook on the barbeque or under the grill until cooked – about 5 minutes each side.

5. Serve.

Top tips Add chilli, garlic or herbs to the burger. Add grated courgette, strips of red pepper or spring onion to the minced beef mixture. Serve the burger in a bun with lots of salad.
