									                                         Modifying Clip Art
 Resizing and Moving Clip Art

       Left click on the clip.
       Using the corner handlebars,
        click and drag the clip to the desired size.
       To move the clip, position the cursor over the image
        and click and drag the image to the desired location.


 Rotating Clip Art
       In your document or file containing the photo or clip you want to rotate, click the image.

       You can keep the clip as it is, or rotate it any way you want using the rotating handle      .
        Position the rotating tool        over the rotating handle. As you click and drag the
        handle, dotted lines around the clip guide you.


 Recoloring Clip Art

Note: Some images, such as motion clips, can not be
recolored.
       In your document or file containing the photo
        or clip you want to recolor, click the image.
       Go to the Format menu and select Picture.
       In the Format Picture window, click the
        Picture Tab.
       Click the Recolor button.
       When the Recolor Picture window appears,
        you will be able to change colors by using the
        pull down menus next to each color under the
        New column.
       Click OK when you have finished.

 Formatting the Picture

Once the image has been inserted into a
document, the text wrapping setting may
prevent the easy movement of it. To
change the wrapping style:
    Double-click on the acorn image.
    In the Format Picture window
       select the Layout tab.
    Select Tight from the Wrapping
       Style options.
    Click OK.




  Ungrouping and Grouping Clips

Note: Some images, such as motion clips, can not be ungrouped unless an image editing
software is used.

       Click once on the image to select it.
       Format the picture layout (tight, square, behing text, in front of text, in line with text)
       Right-click the image.
       Select Grouping.
       Select Ungroup. The following message will appear:




       Click Yes.
       Click outside of the image.
       Click any portion of the image you wish to recolor.
       Select the new color using the Fill Color button.

      Use the Select Objects arrow to draw a box around the image to select all pieces of the
       drawing object.
     Right-click the image, select Grouping.
     Select Group.
    Note: You will now be able to move the image as a whole. If any pieces of the image are not
    grouped, click Undo and try grouping the drawing objects again.

  Deleting Images

       Select the picture by clicking on it once.
       Press the delete key.

 Turning Off the Web Collection Search Feature

When searching for ClipArt in Office 2002 (XP), the programs will automatically search your
collections, office collections and Web collections. This may be timely process that hinders the
quick completion of a document. To stop the automatic searching of Web Collections:

       Open Microsoft Word or any Office program you wish to use.
       On the Insert menu, click Picture.
       Click ClipArt.
       Under Other Search Option, Click the pull down arrow next to Search in and clear the
        check box for the option, Web Collections.
