Smart Buy owners always happy to support their Hospital Jeff Timmons and Rhonda Meloche are always quick to step up and donate to the Almonte General Hospital/Fairview Manor. The brother and sister, who have owned Smart Buy in the Patrice’s Your Independent Grocer Mall since 2006, have been part of the business for a combined 20 years. Natives of Almonte, Jeff, his wife Julie and daughter Rebecca along with Rhonda and her husband J.F. Meloche, support Hospital fundraising efforts whenever they can. The storeowners have purchased 100 grey fleece pullovers featuring an Almonte crest on the front for their latest fundraiser. The pullovers sell for $25 and Jeff and Rhonda will donate $10 from every one for a potential $1,000 donation. Jeff and Rhonda are joining Mill Street business owner Emily Arbour, who is donating 14 per cent of her February sales to the Hospital. To form a business partnership with the AGH/FVM Foundation, contact Gerry Huddleston at 613-256-2514 ext. 2297 or email@example.com.
