CHICAGO, July 24 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The following was released today by the Illinois State
Rifle Association:

WHAT: Press event to publicize the McDonald Case plaintiffs applying for Chicago Firearm Licenses and
registering their weapons under Chicago's new handgun ownership ordinance.

WHEN: Monday, July 26, 2010, 9:00 AM

WHERE: Chicago Police Department Headquarters, 3510 South Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL

WHO: McDonald Case Plaintiffs: Otis McDonald; Colleen Lawson; David Lawson; and Adam Orlov. Also

In 2008, these plaintiffs along with the Second Amendment Foundation and the Illinois State Rifle
Association filed a civil rights lawsuit against the city, that culminated in the recent Supreme Court decision
which has ultimately allowed these individual plaintiffs and enabled millions of other Chicago residents to
own a handgun in their home for the defense of themselves and their families.

The ISRA is the state's leading advocate of safe, lawful and responsible firearms ownership. For more than a
century, the ISRA has represented the interests of millions of law-abiding Illinois firearm owners.
