Artscape is an outdoor festival that takes place rain or shine. In July, it can get very hot in
Baltimore. Keep hydration and water in mind. The average temperature for July in Baltimore is
about 90 degrees with high humidity.

ACCOMODATIONS, PARKING AND TRANSPORTATION:

Credentials and Security
Artscape credentials will be issued to all artists, crew, local labor, etc. These credentials are the
only valid festival passes. These credentials must be worn at all times on the festival site. You
will receive your credentials, meal tickets and be able to present your guest list at the time of
your arrival. TOUR PASSES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY FESTIVAL SECURITY. Please
limit the number of passes and meal tickets to artists and their touring staff. Please contact
Mike Scarfe with any questions, 301-991-6200.

The festival has hired a private security firm, in addition to officers of the Baltimore City Police
Department.

Catering
Lunch and dinner will be served at The Main Stage and the Festival Stage. You will be provided
with meal tickets for each member of your band and crew. Please do not forget your drivers.
These locations are reserved for the MUSICIAN’S BAND AND CREW ONLY.

There will be a large variety of local foods vendors on the site to accommodate your guests.
Please note that the meal tickets are only valid in the catering areas and will not be honored for
any of the food vendors.

Hospitality
Additionally, there will be a hospitality area behind each stage. This area will be available to
your band, guests and crew for a period of time before and after your performance. It will
contain a variety of snacks, drinks, bottled water, etc. Please note that per contract addendum,
individual rider requirements will NOT be honored. We have tried to anticipate special needs.

There will be a Hospitality Host at each of the four stages. This person will greet you with all of
your credentials, meal tickets, site maps, etc. and will take care of your towels, stage drinks and
any special needs. There are dressing rooms at The Main Stage. The festival provides privacy
trailers at The Festival Stage. The hospitality areas are not suitable for changing clothes. This
area will be shared with other artists scheduled to appear on the same stage. For the
convenience of all performers, guests of artists permitted in this area will be limited. There are
no rooms at the University of Baltimore “UB Stage and the DJ Culture Stage unless
arrangements are made in advance.

Transportation
To run a smooth schedule, it is imperative for the festival to have full information of your travel
details. We will NOT provide artist transportation without prior agreement between the
musician’s booking agent and the festival talent buyer.

We can help arrange other transportation for those of you who will not be traveling with their
own bus or van. This will be Artist cost and will be directly billed to you.
