Hiking, also known as hiking, walking, hiking or trekking, walking is not in the usual sense, can be understood as "long walk" campaign also includes "the long walk over the mountains." Hike off into the Sunset This hike is a great picture taking opportunity. At the beginning of the hike it is still pretty light out. By the time we get to Siphon Draw the Superstition Mountains will be illuminated and the sky full of color especially when there are a few clouds. On this hike you will definitely see a variety of desert plants and maybe encounter some live desert wildlife. This is an easy hike with little elevation gain on a very well maintained trail. Elevation Lost Dutchman State Park 2080 feet Maximum elevation 2200 feet Distance Approx 3 miles, time length 2 hours The Route The hike will begin at the Saguaro day use area. We will start up the Treasure Loop trail and then turn onto Jacob’s Crosscut trail and head over to Siphon Draw. Siphon draw will lead us to the Discovery Interpretive trail and then back to the parking lot.
