Project Description: The sciences are an important part of primary education, and science competitions help keep students interested in the subject and improve relations between communities and schools. As part of the La Paz Health Fair, this project provided prizes for an intercollegiate science competition in which 1,527 school children participated. The awards included desktop computers, domestic travel, calculators, and memory cards for the winning teams.
