                 ABSTRACT
   Night Vision technologies encompass techniques
    of image conversion, image intensification and
    thermal imaging. Each has distinct
    characteristics and capabilities.

   The current image intensification technology --
    utilizing photocathode, phosphor screens and
    micro channel plates -- illustrates the technology
    of light amplification and image resolution.

           INTRODUCTION
 Till now, Visualizing objects at night has been a
  herculous task       for human eye without having
  sufficient light sources.
 But now in this century, we have overcome this
  problem with a greater solution for this problem.


     NIGHT VISION TECHNOLOGY – Which gives us
  the ability to see in conditions that are too dark for a
  naked eye.
                           What is Night Vision?

  Night Vision is an optical device consisting of high-
quality image intensifier tubes and optics that amplify
existing light.

  It has an Infrared Illuminator, which provides a light
source for the system to amplify the images.

  It can give you the enhanced images in very low light
conditions, such as caves, where no ambient light is
available for amplification of the objects inside.
               HISTORY
 NVDs have been around for more than 40 years.
 They are categorized by generations.
 Each substantial change in NVD technology
establishes a new generation.

     Infrared light is a small part of the light spectrum

 An atom has a nucleus and an electron cloud.
  TECHNOLOGIES
 With the proper night-vision equipment,
you can see a person standing over 200 yards
(183 m) away on a moonless, cloudy night.

 Night vision can work in two very different
ways, depending on the technology used.
