          MISSION STATEMENT
My goal is to enter the academic or private sector and establish a successful
research/teaching and extension program focused on spatial technologies (remote
sensing and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)) and their application in
forestry and agriculture. I wish to develop my interaction with the industry and
scientific peers through applied research in forest and agricultural management,
spatial information science, and information technology applications in the natural
