Information on Today’s Open House

Thank you for attending our open house. Today we are presenting:
· A summary of the Desired Conditions we have collectively developed for Mesa Verde National Park. · Preliminary Alternatives, which have been developed from our knowledge of transportation issues, anticipated needs, project goals, and desired conditions.
We request Your Input on the preliminary alternatives before they are refined and carried forward into Detailed Environmental Evaluation. Please keep in mind that the alternatives presented today have already undergone one level of screening to ensure they address the study’s purpose and need. The next, detailed evaluation/second screening process will help us determine the best alternative to implement in Mesa Verde’s future. Please review all our materials – including the “How to View and Interpret the Preliminary Alternatives” information and “Assumptions Common to All” – and give us your thoughts. Please tell us: 1) if we have represented all concepts; and 2) if you have any new ideas. Your input is critical. – With sincere thanks from the project team
