Performance evaluation in Monroe is based upon the premise that professional growth and development is dependent
on honest and meaningful feedback. Personal and professional skills can be reinforced, improved, or modified based
upon this process of observation, discussion and feedback.

Through the performance evaluation process, trust and confidence between the supervisor and the driver is encouraged.
It is the duty of the supervisor to be honest, provide meaningful feedback, to be supportive, to recognize individual
differences, to counsel, and to provide the evaluated employee with maximum opportunity for growth and
development.

RATING SCALE
Five Levels defined as: (1) Unacceptable, (2) Needs improvement, (3) Average, (4) Above average, and (5) Superior

    1. Assists with site snow removal for the purpose of ensuring access and safety.

       activities, safety issues, and/or proper maintenance of facilities and equipment.

       adequate quantities for daily use.

        purpose of taking appropriate action or notifying appropriate personnel for resolution.

        damage, equipment loss, and/or potential liability.

        vacuum cleaner belts, bags, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring proper functioning and usability of items.

        grounds, etc.) for the purpose of preventing injuries and ensuring site safety.

        temperature for the season, and to ensure economical usage of fuel, water, and electricity.

        modesty panels) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe, and attractive environment.

        and authorized by the Head Custodian, Custodial Supervisor, or Building Administrator for the purpose of the
        safety and welfare of the building and those within it.

    19. Performs such yard keeping chores (e.g. lawn cutting, leave removal, trash collection) for the purpose of
        maintaining a safe and attractive environment.

    20. Ensures that all appropriate exit doors are unlocked and all panic bolts are working properly during the hours the
        building is occupied for the purpose of allowing entrance and exit of individuals and proper security is in place.

        the purpose of ensuring safe operation.
