Several colleagues and coworkers aided in the writing and research behind several of the chapters of this dissertation. A brief description of their background and their contributions are included here.
Prof. Erdogan Kiran - Ph.D. (Department of Chemical Engineering, Virginia Tech) is the Advisor and Committee Chair. Prof. Kiran provided extensive advice and discussion on the design, execution of the experiments, the analysis of the experimental data, and writing of the Ph. D. dissertation during the present research.
Chapter 4: Viscosity and density of PMMA
Frank Schuch – MS. (Department of Chemical Engineering, Virginia Tech) currently at Uhde GmBH, Dortmund, Germany was a student in the author’s group and contributed during his graduate studies to this chapter in terms of conducting experiments, and analyzing the experimental data.
