CBA Real Estate Section
December 15, 2010
The Colorado General Assembly is in Session
Are you having a hard time sifting through the 511 bills currently pending in the
Colorado legislature to identify which may impact your practice area? The Real Estate
Section Council, with the help of Michael Valdez, the CBA’s Director of Legislative
Relations, and Section members Chris Payne, Mayra Rosa, Drew Sloat, and Dan
Sweetser, are reviewing the proposed legislation for possible impacts on real property
and the real estate community. A list of such bills, including detailed information about
each and its status, as well as a link to its full text, can be found at:
The link will take you to a Word document, the first several pages of which show
scheduled activities on the bills for the next week or two. The following pages show the
detailed information described above. The site is automatically updated everyday to
reflect the status of bills and the upcoming activities scheduled with respect thereto and
will be updated periodically to reflect the reviews prepared by the Real Estate Section
Council and other Section members. If you are particularly interested in certain
legislation, check the link periodically to see what’s new.
