Salary:            $16.77 - $19.17 Hourly

Position Status:   This is a Permanent position. -- Part Time

Duties: Responsible for the management, supervision and service of all meetings, banquets, and
catered functions in conjunction with the goals and task set forth for the Catering Department.
Directs and supervises catering staff in service standards and policies. Forecast staffing needs and
payroll costs; schedules staff in order to maximize profits consistent with quality service. Directs
staff in setting up of attractive, creative, and imaginative buffet tables and displays. Handles banquet
charges at the conclusion of catered functions for prompt and accurate accounting of all catering
department revenue and expenses. Has client contact during functions, monitors satisfaction, last
minute changes and special requests.

About the Position: Employees are required to attend New Employee Orientation within the first 30
days of employment.

Generally will require working evenings, weekends and holidays.

 Solid and progressively responsible work experience directly related to the duties to be performed.
Knowledge of catering sales and execution of events is an absolute requirement. Knowledge of and
demonstrated experience in catering, restaurant or grill management, and bar operations. Knowledge
of and experience in event planning, catering, marketing and promotions within the hospitality
industry highly desirable. Experience in hotel or resort catering preferred.

 Ability to lead or supervise employees engaged in technical work related to this position.
 Demonstrated work experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills,
and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the
work of the position to be filled.
 Ability to communicate orally and in writing.

Other Information:

 Schedule tour of duty will require evenings, weekends and holiday work hours.

 Satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) that will be initiated
prior to appointment to a NAF position.
 Satisfactory completion of a National Agency Check (NAC) that will be initiated upon
appointment to a NAF position.
