We note from our records that the warranty on your CCTV Security System has
expired. As you are a valued customer we would like to take this opportunity to
offer our fully comprehensive extended maintenance agreement.

As this agreement covers labour and call out charges, you can remove the worry of
expensive repairs by simply signing below and returning a copy with a cheque for
the relevant amount.

If you require any more information about the above please do not hesitate to
contact the head office.

Terms and conditions of our extended warranty/maintenance agreement are stated
overleaf.

system downtime. You will also save money by avoiding non-contracted hourly
rates.

Current industry standards, NACOSS, the Police and the Data Protection Act all
require that security systems that fall within their remit are covered under a formal
Agreement.

• Stay Covered

Your insurance company will usually require you to regularly maintain your security
system. If you have not arranged appropriate cover your insurance claims may be
invalid. In addition all security systems that are Police calling or financed under a
Lease Agreement must have a current maintenance contract.

                                 MAINTENANCE FOR CCTV
As part of your CCTV System Preventative Maintenance contract S.E.I undertakes a
thorough service of all your system's components.


What CCTV Servicing includes …

  Check history of CCTV system since last maintenance service

  Visual inspection of all major CCTV components including cabling & connections where accessible for signs of
  deterioration or damage

  Check all CCTV control equipment (monitors, VCR, DVR, Multiplexer etc.)

  Clean System Monitors

  Check and clean cameras, lenses and housings as necessary.

  Check lenses for correct field of view and adjust as necessary

  Check pictures for correct field of view and adjust as necessary.

   Check and test remote signalling equipment (where fitted)

  Check recording and playback quality

  Check the satisfactory transmission of images to remote centre (where applicable)

  Repair any minor faults (where possible)

  Clean internal workings of DVR/Recorder – Vacuum & Blow

  Hard Drive Check, Scan and Defrag

  Software Upgrades where available

  Clean DVD/CD Writer

  Test System Power Supply

  Retrain the users on the use of the CCTV system (if required)

  Log all test results

  Return the CCTV system to operational status.

Terms & Conditions of CCTV System Maintenance Contract
S.E.I shall arrange for a maintenance programme at intervals of 6-12 months.

The contract shall commence after the system has one year after the date of handover of the
system to the customer.

All maintenance shall be carried out at a time convenient to both parties.

The customer shall inform S.E.I of any defect of the security system.

If at any time during the contract the system becomes defective, it shall be restored to full working
order by an S.E.I employed engineer

Any repairs that required costs shall be chargeable to the customer at the standard rate charged by
S.E.I

S.E.I shall endeavour to restore the security system to full working order as promptly as possible,
but shall not be responsible for any loss or costs due to any delay.

No repairs or alterations to the security system shall be carried out by any person without the
authority of S.E.I

Service shall be carried out only at the address of the installation.

S.E.I reserves the right to review the level of annual maintenance charge to cover any additions to
the system, inflation, new regulations, etc.

No external lighting is covered in this contract

In the consideration of payment in advance, at a rate ruling at the date of payment, we will provide
maintenance service during S.E.I’s normal working hours for 1 year, including all necessary repair
parts and labour required to keep equipment in good operating condition when in normal use.

The agreement does not cover damage resulting from force, water, smoke, burglary, theft, mis-
operation, misuse, abuse, negligence or accidental damage. Also specifically excluded is damage
resulting from an attempted repair by someone other than an employee of S.E.I.

S.E.I will not be liable for any loss of data or corruption of data from whichever source this may
occur.

Software support covers any queries on specifics, but excludes further training and any changes in
the system specification.

Where possible we will provide a loan machine to replace any CCTV system which is uplifted to our
workshop for repair, but cannot guarantee the replacement will be the same make or model.

S.E.I reserves the right to make a charge additional to the maintenance fee in the event of the user
calling for the attendance of an engineer without good reason.
