IAMFA President wanted a simple multi-national tool
that could be used by the membership to produce their
building energy label.
UK Display Energy Certificate (DECs)

                 be assessed for a Display Energy
                 Certificate (UK).

                 DEC Energy Benchmarks differ
                 from CIBSE Guide F Energy in
                 Buildings.

                 CIBSE TM46 Energy Benchmarks
                 which are used for DEC
                 operational rating.

energy benchmarks so that a quick comparison can be made.
For the UK we have referenced CIBSE Guide F Energy in Buildings.

        Carbon Reduction Commitment

The Carbon Reduction Commitment is a new mandatory
carbon-trading scheme being introduced in the UK for large
non-energy intensive organisations from April 2010.
It will apply to organisations with half-hourly metered
electricity consumption greater than 6,000 MWh per year.
At the start of each financial year, organisations affected will
be required to purchase allowances of carbon that they
expect to emit over the following year.
In October each year, organisations will be placed in a CRC
league table.
Those with poor environmental performance will be
penalised, whilst those with good performance will be
rewarded.
Building energy certificates/labelling

           The Carbon Trust operates an Energy
           Efficiency Carbon Trust Standard
           (replacing the Energy Efficiency
           Accreditation Scheme). The new scheme
           has been created to build consumer
           trust and reward businesses that make
           genuine emission reductions.


            London Green 500 is a similar scheme
            to the EEAS but concentrating on
            organisations based in London.
