(All Pools will be Closed on July 4)
Anyone 6 years and older will be required to have a Columbus Recreation & Parks Department Leisure Card. These cards cost $1.00 and can be purchased at various Recreation Facilities throughout the City. You must have proof of identification either a birth certificate; social security card or drivers license to obtain a Leisure Card. If you have any questions regarding the Leisure Card, please call any of our pools.
INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMS ( Schedule is subject to change)
Registration for Learn-To-Swim classes may be done in person or over the phone. Registration will be limited to 3 participants for each person registering, unless the classes do not fill. Also, registration dates are for new people only. If you have someone currently participating in a class, they must wait until the last day of class to re-register if there is room in the next session. A. B. C. Learn-To-Swim (6 years old & up) Competitive Swimming Adult & Children 3-5 years Monday - Thursday: Monday - Thursday Saturday and Sunday 12:30 and 6:30 PM 12:30 and 7:30 PM @ Tuttle 10:30 AM 12:30 PM
Classes for children 6 years and older will meet Monday-Thursday for 2 weeks for 8 total classes. Classes for Adults and Children 3-5 years of age will meet Saturday & Sunday for 3 weeks for 6 classes. All classes are offered FREE OF CHARGE and are American Red Cross Lessons. EVERYONE 6 YEARS OLD AND UP MUST HAVE A LEISURE CARD TO ENTER. CLEAN BATHING SUITS ARE REQUIRED. WE DO NOT ALLOW CUT-OFFS, LEOTARDS, OR THONGS. ALL OBSERVERS MUST ALSO WEAR SWIMSUITS. WE DO NOT PERMIT STREET CLOTHES IN THE POOL AREA. MALE SWIM TRUNK MUST HAVE APPROPRIATE LINING INSIDE. A SOAP SHOWER IS REQUIRED TO ENTER THE POOL. PLEASE WALK EVERYWHERE. RUNNING IS NOT PERMITTED. PLEASE ENTER THE WATER FROM THE DECK FEET FIRST. DIVING IS PROHIBITED. THIS IS A SMOKE FREE FACILITY. BALLS, TOYS, AND FLOATATION DEVICES ARE NOT PERMITTED. ALL FOOD AND DRINK WILL BE CONFINED TO AN AREA DESIGNATED BY POOL MANAGEMENT. GLASS CONTAINERS ARE NOT PERMITTED. CHILDREN WILL NOT BE PAGED UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY. THE COLUMBUS RECREATION AND PARKS DEPARTMENT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS BROUGHT INTO THE POOL. CHILDREN UNDER 8 YEARS OF AGE MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER IN A BATHING SUIT. THE ADULT MUST STAY WITH THE CHILD AT ALL TIMES. ALL CHILDREN NOT POTTY TRAINED ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR RUBBER PANTS OR A SWIM DIAPER. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHER PATRONS AND DISPOSE OF SOILED DIAPERS PROPERLY.
