       Whereas, there have been incidents of explosion in the Cinema Houses in Delhi in
the past causing loss of life and property.

2.     And whereas I have reasons to believe that circumstances exist where carrying
of concealed arms/fire arms/explosives etc. inside any place of public amusement etc. in
the Jurisdiction of North Distt. Delhi is likely to cause danger to human life, safety,
disturbances of public tranquility or a riot.

3.      Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 144
Criminal Procedure Code,1973   read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New
Delhi’s Notification No. F-11036/1/2008 –UTL, dated 31/10/2008, I, Sagar Preet, Deputy
Commissioner of Police, North District, Delhi do hereby prohibit the carrying of any Box,
including Tiffin box, Bag, Hand bag and any other container capable of concealing any
arm/fire arm/explosive material inside any place of public amusement including Cinema
Houses in the jurisdiction of North Distt. Delhi.

4.      This order shall come into force with effect from 12/02/2010 and shall remain in
        force for a period of 60 days i.e. upto 12/04/2010 (both days inclusive) unless
        withdrawn earlier.

5       Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of
        Indian Panel code.

6.      As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby
        passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through Press
        and by Affixing copies on the notice boards of the offices of all DCsP, Addl.
        DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil Offices , all Police Stations concerned and the offices of the
        NDMC and MCD.

activities prejudicial to the maintenance of peace in Delhi.

2.     And whereas information has also been received that such activities may
seriously endanger life and property of the citizens and maintenance of law and order in
the Capital.

3.       Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 144
Criminal Procedure Code,1973  read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New
Delhi’s Notification No. F-11036/1/2008 –UTL, dated 31/10/2008, I, Dr. Sagar Preet,
Deputy Commissioner of Police, North District, Delhi do hereby make this written order
prohibiting the carrying of ‘MASHAL’ i.e. torch carrying live flames or live fire candles or
live fire in any form in processions, rallies, functions, in the jurisdiction of North Distt.
Delhi.

4.       This order shall come into force with effect from 12/02/2010 and shall remain in force
for a period of 60 days i.e. upto 12/04/2010 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

5      Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of
Indian Panel code.

6.      As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby
passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through Press and by
Affixing copies on the notice boards of the offices of all DCsP, Addl. DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil

       Whereas reports have been received that Pan, Cigarette and aerated water
shops are kept open till late in the night and the same attract gathering of persons, who
cause annoyance to the Neighbourhood and indulge in quarrels having the potential of
escalating into riotous situations and also disturb the public tranquility and endanger
human life.

2.      And whereas to prevent annoyance to public, human life and disturbance to
public tranquility, it is necessary to take speedy measures to prevent the forming of such
gatherings of persons in the late hours of the night.

3.       Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 144
Criminal Procedure Code,1973    read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New
Delhi’s Notification No. F-11036/1/2008 –UTL, dated 31/10/2008, I, Dr. Sagar Preet,
Deputy Commissioner of Police, North District, Delhi do hereby make this written order,
prohibiting Pan, Cigarette and aerated water shops being kept open after 1.00 AM in the
jurisdiction of North Distt. Delhi.

4.       This order shall come into force with effect from 14/02/2010 and shall remain in force
for a period of 60 days i.e. upto 14/04/2010 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

5      Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of
Indian Panel code.

6.      As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is hereby
passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through Press and by

        Whereas the area known as Dwarka Court Complex, Sector-10, Dwarka,
New Delhi together with its adjoining areas are busy places frequently visited by
a large number of accused persons, petitioners etc. including Court Complex
judicial lockup, Prosecution Branch Offices, Lawyers Chambers due to
functioning of the various Courts, movement of litigants and Advocates.

2.     And whereas reports have been received indicating that such conditions
now      exist    that      unrestricted    holding  of      public   meetings,
processions/demonstrations etc. in the above area is likely to cause obstruction
and inconvenience in the smooth functioning of the Hon’ble Courts and
disturbance to the litigants and Advocates.

3.   And whereas it is necessary to take speedy measures for the safety and
smooth functioning of courts.

4.      Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by Section
144 Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 read with Govt. of India, Ministry of Home
Affairs, New Delhi’s Notification No. U-11036/1/2008 UTL dated 26.11.2008, I,
Kannan Jegadesan, Deputy Commissioner of Police, South-West Distt., Delhi do
hereby make this written order prohibiting:-

        i)     the holding of any public meeting;
        ii)    assembly of five or more persons;
        iii)   carrying of fire-arms, banners, placards, lathis, spears, swords,
sticks, brickbats            etc;
        iv)    shouting of slogans;
        v)     making of speeches etc;
        vi)    processions and demonstrations; and
        vii)   picketing or dharnas in any public place
               within the area specified in the schedule and site plan appended to
        this order    without a written permission.

5.     This order shall come into force with effect from 12.02.2010 and shall
remain in force for a period of 60 days i.e. up to 12.04.2010 (both days
inclusive) unless withdrawn earlier.

6.      Any person contravening this order shall be punishable under Section 188
of the Indian Penal Code.

7.    As the notice cannot be served individually on all concerned, the order is
hereby passed ex-parte. It shall be published for the information of public through
Press and by affixing copies on the notice boards of the offices of all Districts
DCsP, Addl. DCsP, ACsP, Tehsil Offices, all Police Stations concerned and the
offices of the NDMC and MCD.

8.    Religious functions/rallies/public meeting etc. can be held with prior
permission, in writing, of Deputy Commissioner of Police, South-West District,
Delhi and this order shall not apply to processions which have the requisite
permission of the Police.
